Online classes are being very helpful during this lockdown period: Maheshwari
These are first-hand student accounts on how our young population is managing to keep their exam prep or college course work going from the confines of their homes. In case you want to share your lockdown study experience, write to us at publish@shiksha.com.
Coronavirus has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) and there is a sense of fear all around the world. The central government has taken all the possible precautionary steps to control the spread of the disease and that includes shutting down all sectors like trade, manufacturing and export/import. There are global tourism Visa bans on tourists and restrictions on visiting the other countries. Malls and multiplexes are closed until the situation improves. Global higher education including MBA education is also affected. In addition, schools colleges have postponed their convocations and are conducting online classes, as a precautionary measure against the disease.
Here I am writing about my own experience how I feel about the online classes:
- Online classes are being conducted by the respective subject’s faculty and these online classes are being very helpful during this lockdown period.
- In these online classes, students are listening to classes with full concentration because no other student disturbs us in the online class and we can clarify our doubts just like offline classes.
- The state government has decided to close all educational institutions across the state to prevent and contain the spread of coronavirus.
- The government ordered all schools, colleges, universities to shut down on 19 March and by then, 75% of the syllabus was completed and completing the remaining syllabus online is not that They are sufficient to cover the designated syllabus.
- After the completion of the class, teachers are providing us with the materials for each class and they conduct assessment tests online.
- The subject teacher takes classes every day and these online classes are really good and effective.
- Online classes are more convenient when compared to regular classes.
- The only drawback in online classes is that it completely depends on the internet.
Projects and Assignments Labs:-
- All the final year students are working on their projects from home itself and the remaining students do their assignments from home and submit them online.
- We completed our labs earlier so that there is no problem with the practicals. For C, C++, Java, data structures, microprocessor interfacing labs, we have installed some applications on our laptops. Respective subject faculty member takes the attendance for each and every e-class and this will be added to the final attendance. Immediately after the lockdown, the college might conduct exams within the span of a month. Therefore, it is best to prepare in advance for college exams and other competitive exams in this free time.

So given a score of 394 in LAWCET, getting an admission in the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) depends on category wise, seat and LAWCET cutoff trends etc. In other words, for general category candidates the top university cut off frequently remains restricted in the range of 100-500 ra
