The Training and Placement Office (TPO) cell of Poornima University has stipulated certain eligibility guidelines for students sitting for placement drives. Payal Jajodia shares the complete guidelines for campus placement drives along with the training and assistance provided by the TPO cell.

The Training and Placement Office (TPO) cell of Poornima University has laid down the eligibility criteria for placements according to requirement of various companies. The TPO cell list out the database of the students of the final year according to their aggregates in class 10th, 11th, 12th and the semester grade up to 6th semester.

Placement eligibility shortlists the candidate on various parameters or the candidates themselves can assess if they can sit for the placement process of a particular company and their domain profile matches with the company’s domain profile. The Top recruiters at our college include names such as Infosys, Pinnacle, TCS, Jaro Education, Genpact, Indian Navy, Micromax, ICICI Prudential, etc.

The basic eligibility criteria for placements at Poornima University is following:

  • Class 10th – 60% and above
  • Class 11th and 12th eligibility – 60% and above
  • Semester Grade Point Average (S.G.P.A.) – 6.5 aggregate with no active backlog in previous semesters

The TPO cell of Poornima University has also laid down certain guidelines for all students applying for placements:

  • Final year students should meet with the eligibility criteria as laid down by the companies visiting the college for on-campus selection
  • TPO cell invites the company for recruiting the students only through on-campus placement drives
  • TPO cell prepares the database of the final year students and shares the same with the company so that they can be shortlisted for the placement drives based on the criteria set by the visiting company
  • Maintaining proper attendance across all the semesters is an important pre-requisite for candidates planning to sit in the campus placement drives
  • Regular sessions for personality development and soft skills organized so that students are thoroughly prepared
  • A team of faculty co-ordinator and student is formed for the placement cell so that the process is being properly executed
  • No amount to be paid to any individual or agency for the purpose of recruitment
  • Students are allowed to accept job letter by only one company and can apply for another company through Dream Slot
  • If a student is selected in another company then they have to send a regret letter to the first company and an acceptance letter to the second company
  • Student must follow proper code of conduct and any misbehaviour is not entertained. Strict action to be taken against any defaulters, even running the risk of being blacklisted from further placement drives.
  • Candidates must carry their college ID cards, resume, portfolio, passport size photographs and hall ticket of the company during campus drives
  • If a student is not willing to join a company after being selected due to genuine reasons then they must inform the TPO cell and abide by the agreements of the cell

Well MCA has good placement at Poornima University but i do not that have that much information for that you can visit their official site, but do not have that exact  information , as a part of LPU i can lpu is best for placements and infrastructure as well
