The B.Tech in civil engineering at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay is equally good. 1. Raking: In the 2022 rankings, IIT Kharagpur is ranked fifth, while IIT Bombay is ranked third by NIRF. 2. Therefore, from a placement perspective, IIT Kharagpur is better than IIT Bombay.

Yes, IIT BHU offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to 25% undergraduate students. Besides, there are several endowment scholarships offered by the Institute. Some other facilities are also provided to undergraduate students in the form of Institute free studentship, scholarships, reimbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The 2026 JEE Mains deadline for IIT Patna BTech admissions was scheduled on November 27th 2025. The JEE Mains is conducted twice in one academic year. For the second session, the JEE Mains deadline has not been revealed yet. 

Candidates can expect the IIT Patna BTech deadline to be scheduled in the month of March. The JEE Mains registerations are expected to begin soon.

Haridwar University accepts entrance exam scores for admission to most of the courses.
