DCET Application Form 2026: The Karnataka Examination Authority closed the registration process. The last date to submit application form was April 10. Candidates who wanted to take admission to diploma programmes had to fill DCET 2026 application form. The official website for DCET 2026 is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

In short, Diploma holders who seek lateral entry into the second year of undergraduate engineering programmes and first year of Architecture programmes in state have to take DCET. How to Fill DCET Application Form 2026

DCET application form 2026 submission is now over. The mode of application form was online. To sucessfully submit application form, it is mandatory to pay application fee. The DCET 2026 registration fee is non-refundable and accepted payment mode include netbanking/credit/debit card. Candidates can follow process mentioned below to fill application form.

  • Go to official website
  • The KEA portal is displayed on screen
  • Click on DCET 2026 registration link available on homepage
  • Now register by entering basic details: name, contact details, etc. to generate application number
  • Fill personal, communication, centre, and educational qualification details
  • Upload documents - photograph and signature along with left-hand thumb impression and parent's signature.
  • Pay registration fee and recheck all details carefully. 
  • Keep a copy for future reference

Important Instructions While Filling DCET Application Form 2026

Many students make common mistakes while filling DCET 2026 application form. A single mistake can cause an issue in the candidature procedure. Thus, to submit the application form successfully, candidates must follow the instructions guideline mentioned below -

  • Go through DCET 2026 eligibility criteria carefully.
  • Late submission or half-edited application form is not accepted. 
  • Use a valid and active mobile number and e-mail address only, as OTP will be sent to registered number only.
  • Enter all personal and academic details carefully.
  • Ensure that the marks and qualifying percentage for the diploma are correct and match with original marksheet.
  • Upload the required documents as per the specifications.
  • Payment of registration fee is compulsory, otherwise candidature will not be accepted.

DCET Application Form Correction Facility

DCET form 2026 correction facility is a process where students can remove and edit their application form. After the completion of the application form, the Karnataka Examinations Authority opens the form correction facility window for a limited period of time. The correction link is now closed. The DCET form correction window allow students to make changes to their application form. Only certain fields will be open for corrections. Applicants cannot edit their name, email ID, number, etc. Once details are changed cannot be modified further.

Candidates must present their hall ticket at DCET exam centres, otherwise they will not be accepted to appear for the exam.
