DCET Result 2026: Karnataka Examinations Authority will release the DCET 2026 result online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/dcet. Candidates require their application number to check DCET result. Merit Determination for DCET 2026 Result

The authorities will prepare the merit list by checking the scores of the candidates in the DCET result. While preparing the merit list, 50% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in DCET 2026 and 50% weightage will be given to the marks secured in the final year examination of the diploma course in the relevant branch of Engineering (Internal assessment marks will be considered for determination of merit in case of semester students, where internal assessment marks are counted for declaring the diploma result).

In case, two or more candidates have the same score and have secured the same rank, then the following guidelines will be followed (as in order) to solve the tie:

  • Marks obtained in the entrance test
  • Marks obtained in the 2nd year
  • Marks obtained in the 1st year
  • Age factor will be implemented
  • A separate merit list is prepared for the following colleges:
    • Day Engineering College Courses
    • Evening Engineering College Courses (Bangalore)
