KEAM Nursing Analysis 2026: Get Detailed Paper Analysis & Review

The KEAM 2026 exam analysis is being made available after each day's exam and shift.

Based on the past few years analysis, here is what you can expect for KEAM.

KEAM 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme: The KEAM exam pattern will be same as last year. There will be MCQ type question and each question will have +4 marks and -1 negative marking. All questions will be conceptual and some can be directly for NCERT books as seen the past years. Questions will come from Maths, Physics and Chemistry of class 11 and 12 level.

Expected KEAM 2026 Difficulty Level: 

• Physics: Physics can be moderate to tough as per previous year trends. 
• Chemistry: Chemistry can be expected the easiest of all the three. The questions can be directlt from NCER and hence candidates are recommended to go through NCET chemistry books thoroughly.
• Maths: Maths can be challenging and the most time consuming.

KEAM 2026 Important Topics: As per historical trends and analysis of the KEAM exam, the topics that might carry high weightage in KEAM 2026 are:

• Physics: Electrostatics, Optics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Magnetism, Modern Physics
• Chemistry: Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Bonding & Coordination, Organic reactions
• Maths: Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Algebra, Probability, Derivatives/Integrals

From 2024 onwards, the KEAM exam transitioned to computer-based test from an offline exam. The KEAM exam pattern and KEAM syllabus also underwent various changes. Candidates can check the KEAM 2024 exam analysis day-wise.

KEAM entrance exam was held at the state level across all districts of Kerala and also in Dubai, Delhi and Mumbai.

• Engineering: Candidates have 180 minutes to answer 150 questions (75 in Mathematics, 45 in Physics, and 30 in Chemistry).
• BPharm Only: Candidates have 90 minutes to complete 75 questions (45 in Physics and 30 in Chemistry).
• The scoring system grants four marks for every correct answer and applies a one-mark penalty for each incorrect response.

KEAM 2024 June 9 Exam Analysis

• Overall difficulty: Moderate.
• Physics was moderate.
• Chemistry was easy.
• Maths moderate and lengthy.

KEAM 2024 June 8 Exam Analysis

• The overall paper was moderate.
• Overall paper was moderate.
• Maths was lengthy but doable.
• Chemistry was easy and directly from NCERT.
• Physics was easy to moderate.

KEAM 2024 June 7 Exam Analysis

KEAM 2024 June 6 Exam Analysis

• Overall the exam was easy to moderate.
• Maths was easy.
• Physics and Chemistry were moderate to difficult and slightly towards the JEE Mains level.
• In Physics questions came from Ohms law.
• In the chemistry part today, physical chemistry questions were more. But there were a fair number of questions from organic and inorganic as well.
• In Maths, very basic questions were asked from integration.
• As per the students, almost 60% of questions are directly from NCERT without changing a single word. The rest 40% would be numerical and application-based.
• The weightage of class 12 topics was more than class 11 topics.

KEAM 2024 June 5 Exam Analysis

• Overall difficulty: Moderate
• Physics: Physics mostly from 11th mechanics, waves. Less weightage from electrostatics, optics.
• Chemistry: Chemistry was heavy on IUPAC, organic, moderate weightage for inorganic. Physical was on the lesser side.
• Maths: Less weightage for premutation and combination, probability and conics. Heavy on 3d, vectors and complex. 

KEAM 2023 Paper 1 Analysis:

As per the initial reaction of the candidates after the KEAM 2023 paper 1 exam the following has been noted:

• KEAM 2023 physics section was moderate to difficult.
• The overall paper was of a moderate difficulty level.
• The chemistry section in KEAM 2023 paper 1 was easy.
• In the Chemistry section, Organic chemistry carried high weightage.

KEAM 2023 Paper 2 Analysis:

As per the initial reaction of the candidates:

• The overall paper was difficult.
• The KEAM 2023 paper 2 exam was said to be lengthy and time-consuming.

KEAM 2022 Analysis for Paper 1

Chemistry: Moderate. Topics with the most weightage were chemistry in everyday life, polymers, organics chemistry and others. 

Physics: Moderate to difficult. Most of the questions came from Bernoulli's theorem, gravitation, velocity-time graph, vector, circular motion, dimensional formula and others.

KEAM 2022 Analysis for Paper 2

Maths: As per the initial reaction of the students, Maths was lengthy, and that is why it was considered a moderate-level paper. However, the questions were easy. Time management was difficult as come questions had quite a bit of calculation.
