To qualify in the KEAM Engineering Entrance Examination and thereby become eligible to get in the Engineering rank list, a candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II of the Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates who do not score the minimum stipulated marks will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in each paper will be disqualified. Also for the B.Pharma rank list, a candidate has to get a minimum of 10 marks out of the index of 480 calculated. The candidates who do not get the minimum stipulated index mark will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of a minimum index mark for ranking for the B.Pharma course. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in Paper-I of the Engineering Entrance Examination will be disqualified.

Admission is made based on KEAM ranks and not the scores. The scores are used to assign ranks to the candidates. KEAM scores with 10+2 standardised scores are used in the weightage of 50:50 to assign ranks. The KEAM 2026 rank lists PDF will be published separately for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma, MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science / B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS will be published.

CEE will start the facility to submit class 12 marks after the KEAM 2026 result is announced. This facility will be available only to those candidates who will qualify the KEAM 2026 exam.

The KEAM rank list is prepared based on the marks of the qualifying exam and KEAM scores. The weightage of the qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks varies for rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma, MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering, and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardisation procedure.

The KEAM scores and rank list will be valid till the closing date of admission as prescribed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court / Central councils / Universities concerned. After the announcement of KEAM scores, the candidates are asked to submit the 10+2 scores. CEE will give 50:50 weightage to the KEAM scores and the 10+2 marks to prepare the rank list. Once the scores are calculated, the candidates are ranked in order of merit. KEAM 2026 seat allotment is done through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. Candidates who receive an allotment letter should remit the fee/balance fee (if applicable) payable to CEE in any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. After the KEAM 2026 counselling rounds, the online mop-up round is conducted for vacant seats.

CEE has officially stated that candidates who miss the KEAM entrance exam will not be given another chance, as no re-examination will be conducted for absentees.

The candidates are eligible for KEAM 2026 counselling if their names appear in the KEAM rank list for Engineering / Architecture / BPPharm / Medical & Medical Allied / Ayurveda courses admissions.

The engineering rank list is prepared based on giving an equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering, and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

No, candidates cannot request for revaluation or rechecking of KEAM result. A fully computerised system is used for evaluation of answers and for the preparation of the rank lists and various merit lists. There is no provision for revaluation or rechecking of answer sheets as the evaluation or scoring will be error-free. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

The KEAM BPharma merit list is prepared based on the marks of the candidates in the KEAM exam.

Candidates can register KEAM option by entering the option number for a course-college combination the candidate can fix their preference numbers for the course-college combinations displayed in the Option Registration Page. Here all the eligible options of the candidate will be displayed coursewise and the candidate is expected to enter their preference number for a particular combination.
