Overview

KEAM 2026 Result: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will release the KEAM result 2026 at cee.kerala.gov.in on or before May 10. CEE will first release the KEAM 2026 scores of the candidates. Thereafter, CEE will ask the candidates who qualify the exam to submit the plus two marks. The KEAM 2026 engineering rank list will then be published by giving 50:50 weightage to KEAM scores and plus two marks. The KEAM rank list will be out on or before June 20, 2026.

Since the KEAM exam is conducted in multiple sessions, the CEE will normalise the scores. The marks after normalisation is set at 300. KEAM Result Date 2026

CEE will declare the KEAM 2026 result on or before May 10. Usually, the KEAM scores are released on the said date and not before. Therefore, chances are that the KEAM results will come on May 10 and not before.

Q:   What minimum marks are required for qualifying KEAM?
A: 

To qualify in the KEAM Engineering Entrance Examination and thereby become eligible to get in the Engineering rank list, a candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II of the Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates who do not score the minimum stipulated marks will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in each paper will be disqualified. Also for the B.Pharma rank list, a candidate has to get a minimum of 10 marks out of the index of 480 calculated. The candidates who do not get the minimum stipulated index mark will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of a minimum index mark for ranking for the B.Pharma course. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in Paper-I of the Engineering Entrance Examination will be disqualified.

What After KEAM Results 2026?

A few days after the KEAM scores are announced, CEE invites the candidates to submit their plus two marks. Once the KEAM plus two marks submission window opens, candidates have to access the KEAM login and enter the class 12 marks. Note that candidates who will not submit their plus two marks will not be considered in the KEAM rank list and hence will be eliminated from the KEAM counselling.

The class 12 marks submitted by the candidates will undergo standardisation for the preparation of the KEAM 2026 Engineering Rank list. After successful submission of the class 12 marks, candidates can download the 'Mark Submission Confirmation Report' for future reference. Note that there is no other mode to submit the class 12 marks data other than via the KEAM candidate portal. Hence, all candidates must submit their marks until the window is open. CEE will not accept any Class 12 marks submission via email or other modes.

KEAM 2026 Counselling

The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be done through the online Single Window System (SWS) to give allotments to the various courses and colleges under the Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/Medical streams in the State, based on the options submitted by the candidates who have been included in the rank list of KEAM 2026. The KEAM 2026 counselling process is as follows:

The KEAM rank list is prepared based on the marks of the qualifying exam and KEAM scores. The weightage of the qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks varies for rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma, MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering, and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardisation procedure.

Q:   How long are KEAM scores valid?
A: 

The KEAM scores and rank list will be valid till the closing date of admission as prescribed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court / Central councils / Universities concerned. After the announcement of KEAM scores, the candidates are asked to submit the 10+2 scores. CEE will give 50:50 weightage to the KEAM scores and the 10+2 marks to prepare the rank list. Once the scores are calculated, the candidates are ranked in order of merit. The KEAM rank lists PDF will be published separately for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science / B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS will be published.

How to Download KEAM Rank List?

 CEE will release the KEAM 2026 rank list at cee.kerala.gov.in on or before June 20 for Engineering and Pharmacy courses. To check KEAM 2026 ranks, candidates must log in to their candidate portal using the KEAM application number and password.

Q:   When will CEE Kerala announce KEAM counselling dates?
A: 

KEAM 2026 counselling schedule will be announced after the reslease of KEAM 2026 result.

CEE holds the KEAM counselling online only. Through KEAM 2026 counselling, candidates can seek admission into the KEAM participating colleges. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats through KEAM counselling 2026 based on the KEAM rank list, marks data entered and availability of seats in a particular college.

KEAM 2026 seat allotment is done through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. Candidates who receive an allotment letter should remit the fee/balance fee (if applicable) payable to CEE in any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. After the KEAM 2026 counselling rounds, the online mop-up round is conducted for vacant seats.

Q:   Who is eligible for KEAM counselling?

CEE has officially stated that candidates who miss the KEAM entrance exam will not be given another chance, as no re-examination will be conducted for absentees.

How is KEAM Result and Rank List Prepared?

The KEAM 2026 result is compiled in 2 ways:

  1. KEAM 2026 scorecard: The scorecard is made available under the respective logins of the candidates on the official website. In the scorecard, candidates can check their marks in the KEAM 2026 exam. The marks are given subject-wise and in total.
  2. KEAM 2026 rank list: The KEAM rank list is prepared based on the marks of the qualifying exam and KEAM 2026 marks. The weightage of the qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks varies for rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, BPharm, MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS/Agriculture/Forestry/ Veterinary /Co-operation & Banking/ Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU)/ Fisheries and BAMS.

KEAM 2026 Normalisation Process

To ensure that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the KEAM examinations in multiple sessions, the normalisation procedure is adopted.

The total score of the Entrance Examination is normalised. The procedure for normalisation has been approved by the Normalisation Committee. The Index Mark after normalisation will be 300.

Candidates can check the process below for the preparation of the KEAM 2026 ranklist.

KEAM 2026 Rank List Preparation for Engineering Courses

  • To prepare the KEAM rank list for engineering admission, an equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the normalised score obtained in the KEAM 2026 Entrance Examination for Engineering and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, put together, after effecting the standardisation procedure.
  • The normalized score obtained by the candidate in the KEAM Engineering Entrance Examination shall be computed out of 300, and added to the total standardized marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as the case may be, of the final year of the Qualifying Examination, computed out of 300, both corrected to four places of decimals. The rank list for Engineering Courses shall be prepared based on the total marks obtained out of an Index mark of 600.

Subjects to be considered for KEAM 2026 Engineering Ranking

The subjects of the qualifying examination considered for the computation of marks for ranking shall be Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. 

In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

Standardisation of 10+2 scores

The final year marks of the qualifying examination of each subject, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/and Biology, of the students who have passed the subject, received from the respective Boards, shall be transformed out of 100. The marks of the three subjects shall be computed out of 300 after effecting standardisation in each subject.  The marks secured by a student in the qualifying examination from any Board will be standardised with respect to statistical parameters such as Global Mean and Global Standard Deviation.

Prepared by giving equal weightage to the score obtained in the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)’ and to the marks/grades obtained in the Qualifying Examination by the candidate.
MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS Courses Prepared based on the rank obtained in NEET-UG 2026, subject to the Nativity conditions.
BPharm Course Prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on index marks calculated as follows: The Chemistry score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination will be multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics score obtained from Paper 1 of the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. The sum so obtained will be multiplied by a factor of 2/3 to calculate the index mark for ranking the candidates for the BPharm course. The maximum index score will be 300.

There are no minimum marks to qualify in the KEAM 2026. However, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

Q:   Can I request revaluation or rechecking of my KEAM result?
A: 

No, candidates cannot request for revaluation or rechecking of KEAM result. A fully computerised system is used for evaluation of answers and for the preparation of the rank lists and various merit lists. There is no provision for revaluation or rechecking of answer sheets as the evaluation or scoring will be error-free. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

The KEAM BPharma merit list is prepared based on the marks of the candidates in the KEAM exam.
