Is there any negative marking in KEAM?

Yes, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. For every correct response in KEAM candidates will be awarded four marks and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the candidates' total score. The pattern of the exam states that the KEAM question papers will comprise objective type questions (MCQ). For each question asked, five answers will be suggested but, only one of them will be correct. All the questions asked will be from KEAM syllabus listed for Physics Chemistry Mathematics / Biology. KEAM 2027 Exam Pattern: CEE Kerala conducts the KEAM exam as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions with five response options (A to E). For the Engineering stream, candidates must complete a 180 minute (3 hour) paper containing 150 questions worth 600 marks, broken down into Mathematics (75 questions), Physics (45 questions), and Chemistry (30 questions). The Pharmacy stream requires a 90 minute (1.5 hour) paper of 75 questions worth 300 marks, covering Physics (45 questions) and Chemistry (30 questions).
