
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) announces DRDO CEPTAM result online for different phases of recruitment. To download DRDO CEPTAM result 2023, candidates need to enter the post applied for, application number and date of birth. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post.
The MTS post exam pattern is divided into two Tiers. Tier 1 is for screening, while tier 2 is for final selection. Both stage exams are conducted in Computer Based Mode.
Tier 1 consists questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability.
Tier 2 consists of questions from General Science, General Math and General English.
DRDO CEPTAM A&A recruitment is conducted for the post of Stenographer Grade-II (English Typing), Administrative Assistant ‘A’ (English Typing), Administrative Assistant ‘A’ (Hindi Typing), Store Assistant ‘A’ (English Typing) and Store Assistant ‘A’ (Hindi Typing), Security Assistant ‘A’, Clerk (Canteen Manager Grade-III), Asstt Halwai-cum Cook, Vehicle Operator ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver ‘A’ and Fireman.

DRDO CEPTAM Result: Preparation of Merit List
The merit list of DRDO CEPTAM is prepared in the following manner.
- The provisional selection is done based on the merit obtained in the Tier 1 exam depending on the post/category/sub-category
- Candidates qualifying the Tier 1 are called to appear for Tier 2
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, MSP, and PWD candidates who are selected based on their merit without relaxation are considered against the reserved category
- The reserved vacancies are filled up separately from amongst the eligible SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, MSP, and PWD candidates
- Candidates are shortlisted in the Tier 1 exam in the ratio of 1:12 (number of vacancies: number of shortlisted candidates)
- Candidates must qualify for the Tier 2 exam
Normalisation of Scores
The scores of the Tier 1 exam are normalised through the equi-percentile method. The examination authority follows the normalisation procedure wherein the exam is held in multiple shifts or sessions. It is done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across sessions. DRDO CEPTAM result is declared based on the normalised marks.
DRDO CEPTAM Result: Minimum Qualifying Marks
DRDO has prescribed minimum qualifying marks for the Tier 1 exam. To qualify the exam, candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks as per their category. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier 1 are 40 per cent for UR/OBC/EWS and 35 per cent for SC/ST candidates.

DRDO CEPTAM for Admin and Allied posts consists of Tier 1 and Tier 2 stages. The CBT in Tier 1 will have multiple choice based questions. The medium of CBT exam will be in both Hindi and English languages. Tier 1 exam is provisional in nature. Tier 2 exam will consist of Skill/Physical fitness and Capability Test, for applicable posts. Tier 2 exam is qualifying in nature. For the post of Junior Translation Officer, Tier 2 exam will be descriptive in nature. There will be no negative marking in CEPTAM exam. The CEPTAM syllabus will be according to the required educational qualification for the specific post.
