The cut off marks are released subject-wise and category-wise. 8383 candidates are qualified in the exam in 33 subjects in all categories put together, as against total available slots of 7,263 (6% of 1,21,052, the total number of candidates appeared in both the papers). Procedure for Declaration of KSET Result
The result of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test is declared in three stages. Aspirants need to fulfill the criteria as mentioned by Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) in order to fulfill the eligibility criteria for lectureship:
- Aspirants need to obtain minimum marks in all the papers as listed in the table below. Only those candidates will be included in the merit list who meet the below-mentioned marks requirement.

- Stage 2: The merit list is prepared subject-wise as well as category-wise by using the aggregate marks, that is, the total marks of all the three papers, as obtained by the candidates.
- Stage 3: From the KSET merit list, the top 6 per cent of aspirants (in each subject and in each category) are declared as KSET 2025 qualified for eligibility for Lectureship.
