KARTET Exam Pattern: Important Points to Note
- The KARTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5
- The KARTET Paper 2 is conducted for candidates who want to teach Classes 6 to 8
- There is no negative marking in the KARTET exam, candidates are awarded one mark for each right answer
- For language papers, there are multiple options for the candidates. Candidates can choose any of the following subjects for each paper - English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Marathi and Telugu. However, candidates cannot choose the same subject for Language I and Language II
- 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked in both papers
