    • Industrial Engineering.

Candidates need to prepare all the above topics from Class 11-12 level textbooks for the SSC JE exam. Regular practice of questions is important.

Q:   Is the SSC JE syllabus changed?

A:

There is no change in the syllabus of the SSC JE exam 2024. The exam continues to have two papers- Paper 1 (Ojective type) and Paper 2 (Conventional type). Paper 1 determines the General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering tendencies of the candidates. On the other hand, the Paper 2 tests the General Engineering of the candidates on specific engineering branch/displine-civil, mechanical and electrical.

The latest syllabus and the exam pattern can be checked on the official SSC JE notification that will be released on February 29, 2024. Candidates are advised to prepare from the latest syllabus to prepare in the right direction.

Q:   Are there only objective-type questions in SSC JE exam?

SSC JE Paper 2 is a descriptive type question paper and the candidates are required to write the answers in the paper 2. The Commission asks the conceptual questions in Paper 2 to test the conceptual clarity of the candidates and the application part of the Engineering principles. In SSC JE Paper 2, questions are asked from General Engineering (Civil and Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) only.

Q:   Is SSC JE syllabus prescribed for both Paper 1 and Paper 2?

A:
Yes, the Staff Selection Commission prescribes syllabus for both SSC JE Paper 1 and Paper 2. the SSC JE exam has two stages that are mentioned below: SSC JE Paper 1 - Objective type SSC JE Paper 2 - Descriptive Type There is a negative marking in the SSC JE paper 1. The marks secured in the Paper 1 and 2 are counted for the final merit.

Q:   Which subjects' questions are asked in SSC JE Paper 1?

A:
In SSC JE Paper 2, questions are asked majorly from three subjects - General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering. In General Engineering, candidates have to attempt questions from Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
