“There are instances where some students had to wait for months to get their degree certificates and if that comes down to days, we will be really happy,” said a Bangalore University affiliated college principal.

Though the university admitted that sticking to 2-3 days deadline will depend on availability of records viz old marksheets and degree certificates.

The examination branch has already prepared a calendar for services provided under Sakaala. The list contains services like issue of a provisional degree certificate, migration certificate, official transcript and announcement of PhD results etc, which will take no more than two days.
