How are the Best Colleges Ranked?
Before getting into the nitty-gritty of the placement opportunities at the top DU colleges, let us learn how NIRF ranks colleges in India. NIRF Ranking lists are made on the basis of five parameters – Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR), Perception (PR), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), Research and Professional Practice (RP) and Graduation Outcome (GO). Under each of these parameters, colleges are evaluated out of 100 marks. Out of all the above-mentioned parameters, GO is allotted 0.2 weightage to determine the overall ranking of a college. GO factors in placement details at a college. There are some parameters to decide the graduation outcome or GO as well. The same are mentioned in the table below.

The Ramanujan College placement cell is an integral part of the college. During 2021 placements, over 180 students were selected by top-notch companies.
Leading Delhi University colleges such as SRCC and Lady Shri Ram College students received the highest package of INR 35 LPA and INR 48.9 LPA, respectively. DU Colleges like Jesus & Mary College and Gargi College got the highest package of INR 23.05 LPA.
