The off-campus college is equivalent to several North Campus colleges.

Placements: 75–80% of students get placed in B.A. Hons. (Economics). The highest package is 25 LPA. The average package is around 7 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, EY, KPMG, etc. Roughly 80–90% of applicants get internships, and the top recruiters again include Deloitte, EY, KPMG, DE Shaw, etc. Top roles offered in this course are Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, Research Analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided to students is top-notch. The campus has Wi-Fi, separate labs for each department, spacious classrooms, and a giant and accessible library for all students. On top of that, the entire college campus has centralized air conditioning, which is the cherry on top. The hostel facilities are also very good, from food to basic amenities. The quality of food is quite good. The college is quite active in sports and games like basketball, cricket, volleyball, chess, etc. It has brought laurels several times.

Faculty: Professors are quite experienced. They are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They explain concepts so clearly that you do not need to refer to anyone else. The teaching quality is quite good. Indeed, the course curriculum is relevant. It does help students become industry-ready. Since the course itself is claimed to be one of the most difficult ones, the semester exams are moderate to tough. They are manageable if studied properly during the gap days, if you have attended the lectures, and if you solve PYQs of DU. Despite the difficulty level being moderate to tough, the pass percentage is approximately 95–98%.

Other: Eco Hons. of SGGSCC is considered quite prestigious and equivalent to some top North Campus colleges. The best things about this course are the quality of faculty, infrastructure, and, most importantly, the placement opportunities. The college excels in connectivity, exposure, & extracurricular activities. The fests and events hosted are also quite good and enjoyed by students a lot.

Good college experience.

Placements: SGGSCC offers roles in data analysis, general management, and public sector management. They also offer a good package for every student studying in college, with 300-plus recruits and 100-plus offers. Around 5 LPA-6 LPA is the package offered. It is a very respected college course.

Infrastructure: Good campus, classrooms, canteen, and good sports ground. There are proper washrooms, library, gymnasium, and a hostel. They are very clean and work properly. There is regular maintenance. The classrooms are very clean. Campus area is also regularly cleaned.

Faculty: Faculty is good and experienced. They are helpful and very knowledgeable staff. They deal with students very politely and professionally. The teaching quality is also very good and professional. The curriculum is also very relevant and easy semester.

Other: I chose Eco Hons because it is a respectable course.

Good infrastructure, decent placements, and an active campus.

Placements: Placements are solid for a DU commerce college. Around 55–60% of students get placed. The highest package is around 24.8 LPA, and the average package is around 5.5–6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies include big names in finance, consulting, and IT. A good number of students also get internships, often in finance and banking roles.

Infrastructure: The college has a nice, modern campus. There is Wi-Fi on campus, big classrooms, and the library is well-stocked and good for studying. The labs are decent too. The college only has a girls' hostel. It is actually one of the better ones. The rooms are furnished with fans and AC. There is a garden around it. The mess food is average, nothing special but okay for day-to-day. There is a canteen too. Medical facilities are basic but available. There are sports grounds and facilities for games. Overall, the infrastructure is quite good for a DU college.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They are generally helpful if you approach them. The teaching quality is good on the whole, though, like anywhere, a few teachers are better than others. The course curriculum is relevant. It mostly makes you industry-ready, especially the practical subjects. Semester exams are moderately tough. If you study regularly, you will be fine, but you cannot cram at last minute. The pass percentage is decent. Most students who attend classes and put in reasonable effort clear their exams.

Excellent commerce education with top-notch infrastructure, strong placements, and good campus life.

Placements: For me, the biggest advantage is the combination of affordable education and corporate opportunities. You do not have to pay an extremely high fee to get access to internships, competitions, and placement drives. The final package depends on individual performance, but the overall opportunities are worthwhile.

Infrastructure: The library staff goes beyond just issuing books. They help with research. They provide access to online databases. They also create a welcoming environment. All the classrooms are fully air-conditioned. This is not provided by most of the colleges in DU.

Faculty: Teaching quality has genuinely impressed me here. Professors know their subjects and take real interest in how students are doing. The curriculum is relevant and covers taxation, auditing, and financial management properly. Exams are rigorous but fair and test actual understanding. The pass rate consistently crosses 86%, which says a lot about both teaching depth and how exams are structured.

Other: School life goes on, unaffected. Freshers are received kindly. Due to the strict anti-ragging policies, the environment is immediately a safe, inclusive place.

Absolutely satisfied with the college in all aspects.

Placements: The highest placement offers are not representative of every student's experience. But decent opportunities across different salary levels. Internships are available through multiple channels. Students should focus on building skills rather than only comparing package numbers.

Infrastructure: The green spaces on campus provide nice spots to relax between classes. I often study under trees in good weather. All classrooms are equipped with AC. Library has a quiet, focused environment. Wi-Fi is available at the college and the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty experience varies across subjects. Some professors genuinely excel. They make complex things accessible, while others could improve engagement significantly. Curriculum is relevant. But it doesn't always keep up with fast-changing industry practices. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass rate is around 74–76%. More consistency across departments would genuinely help.

Other: A great advantage is the internship fair. First-year students can easily find an internship in marketing, HR, and research to complete the CID.

The college has amazing infrastructure.

Placements: As per the latest placement record shared by the placement team, almost 80 percent of the students got placed, which is amazing. The highest package offered was 24.8 LPA, and the average was 5.6 LPA. I am not aware of the lowest. The top recruiting companies are KPMG, Deloitte, Brain, and DE Shaw.

Infrastructure: Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce has one of the best infrastructures among other Delhi colleges. The college offers 7 UG courses, all of which are awesome. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, and the college even has a library where you can find any book related to your course.

Faculty: The faculty is top-notch. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and make learning much easier for the students. The course curriculum aligns perfectly with what the course offers and helps students learn great things about the economy. The faculty is amazing.

Our college has great teachers.

Placements: In the last year, the highest salary package offered for a B.Sc Hons. student was 36 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, Deloitte, Brain & Co, McKinsey, WTW, etc. Top roles offered from our courses are actuarial analyst, management graduate, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college is old. From 2015-2017, classrooms have old seats, tables, and chairs. Many classrooms can accommodate around 60-70 students easily. All classrooms have air conditioners and decent enough air ventilation. There are two boards, one white and one black. There is a projector in every class. The library is a heaven for students who do not want to purchase books for their academic purposes. They have all the books necessary for all courses. They also keep novels and other genres of books that are outside of our academics, which many colleges do not provide. The Wi-Fi connection is a strong point that this college lacks. Our college has a strong difficulty of reaching a decent network connection in classrooms. It barely works except when students are near the admin office or the staff room.

Faculty: Our teachers are great gurus who teach us not only how to ace the exams but also how to ace our lives. My experience here of being taught in my first year was great as all the teachers were very helpful. The curriculum is very relevant to this day and age. It is set according to the curriculum followed by other countries.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Course and College Selection
Cut-off list for each college, course and reservation category would be published on the university portal. Candidates meeting the requisite cut-offs, has to select the desired course and college on DU admission portal.

Final Selection
