AP PGLCET Application Form- The AP PGLCET 2026 application window will be open in March/April. The exam authorities will provide many chances to fill the application form with a late fee after the conclusion of the application submission without a late fee. In case, candidates made any error while filling the application form, they will be able to make corrections in the given time frame through the official website. The AP PGLCET exam date is not announced yet but it is likely to be conducted in May. 

The candidates can fill out the AP PGLCET application form 2026 at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in once released. AP PGLCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility requirements to fill the AP PGLCET application form 2026-

  • Candidates must have Indian citizenship. 
  • They must have completed their Law degree from any recognised state or national university.
  • SC / ST candidates must have 45% in their graduation exam.
  • General category candidates must have 50% in their graduation exam.

Q:   Are non-local candidates eligible for AP PGLCET?
A: 

Non-locals or candidates who do not belong to Telangana can apply for AP PGLCET. However, they need to make sure to meet exam eligibility criteria. The criteria are mentioned below: 

AP PGLCET Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. 
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their 3-year/5-year LLB degree can also apply for AP PGLCET. These candidates need their final marksheet at the time of AP PGLCET counselling. The minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam (LLB exam) must be met by them.
Qualifying Marks
  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks).
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. 
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to apply for AP PGLCET.
Q:   What is the eligibility for Andhra Pradesh LAWCET in India?
A: 

This is an entrance test for admission to any of the almost 35 colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly this test is conducted for either of the three or five year law courses offered by the universities in Andhra Pradesh. Of course, syllabus for five years course is equivalent to 12th standard whereas one for the three year course is equivalent to graduation level. Out of the 120 questions spread over three subjects are to be answered in 90 minutes. With no negative marking, a student must attempt all questions. Indian nationals with 45% marks in qualifying exam and 40% for SC & ST candidates. The age for five year degree course is 20 to 22 years while for three year course us 30 to 35 years. Foreign nationals may apply if particular university allows it. In addition, domicile conditions are also to be met. Also, in the entrance exam, candidates are expected to score at least 42 marks ( for SC & ST candidates no such limit). These were the general conditions. But it's advisable for candidates to study these when ever exam dates are announced for 2018.

Registration and Fee Payment 

The application process will begin with the fee payment. The following details are required during registration

  • Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number
  • Name
  • Mobile number and email id
  • Date of Birth
  • Select the entrance exam PGLCET 
  • Select the payment option. Online payment can be made using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. 

Filling the Online Application Form

Candidates will be able to apply for LLM course offered through AP PGLCET 2026 by visiting the website of APSCHE, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in

  • Candidate’s Details: It includes entering the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, mother’s name, and father’s name.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates need to specify their qualification. Candidates also need to mention other related information such as hall ticket number of qualifying exam and place of study.
  • Entrance Exam: Candidates need to select the law entrance exam 
  • Photo and Signature: Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature based on the specifications mentioned below:

  • Regional Centre for Test: In this column, candidates need to select the preferable AP PGLCET exam centre from the drop-down list.
  • Category: Here, candidates need to select a category that they belong to according to their Caste certificate - OC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ BC-C/ BC-D/ BC-E/ SC/ ST. Also, any candidate belonging to the special category (NCC/ CAP/ Sports) needs to select the appropriate category.
  • Local Area Status: Candidates need to select the local area that they belong to under this column:

• AU (Andhra University)
• OU (Osmania University)
• SVU (Sri Venkateswara University)
• Non-Local

  • Minority/ Non-Minority: If belonging to any minority category (such as SC/ ST/ OBC) need to click the “Minority” button and candidates belonging to the non-minority group (General category students) need to click the “Non-minority” button.
  • Address: Enter the permanent address, as well as the current address
  • Class 10th details: Candidates need to fill their class 10th details such as board, hall ticket number, month and year of passing, and place of study.
  • If Physically Challenged: select If you have any kind of physical disability such as Visual Handicapped/ Hearing Impaired/ Ortho Handicapped.
  • Class 12th details: candidates need to fill their class 12th details including board name, hall ticket number, month and year of passing, as well as the place of study.
  • Annual Income of Parents: Candidates need to select the annual income of their parents i.e. Below One Lakh/ Between One Lakh and Two Lakh/ More than Two Lakh.

Form Submission

  • After filling the application form, candidates need to submit it online.
  • They need to click on disclaimer “I accept the Terms and the Conditions” and press the “Submit” button. 
  • After this, the application process for AP LAWCET 2026 will be complete.  
  • Candidates are advised to download the submitted application form and get printouts of the same for future references.

The AP PGLCET 2026 correction window facility will be made available after the closing of registrations. During this window, applicants will be able to modify details in the application form.

AP PGLCET Correction Window 2026: How to Make Changes to the Application Form?

  • Go to the cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
  • Log in using your application number and password.
  • Navigate to the correction application form section.
  • Edit the required fields and ensure all details are accurate.
  • Upload the document required to make changes to the application form.
  • Save the changes and submit the corrected application form.

APSCHE will provide the application correction facility for APLAWCET 2026 applicants in two categories as under: 

Category 1 - Candidates who want to change/ correct details regarding - AP PGLCET 2026 Branch change, Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name, Date of Birth (as per SSC or Equivalent), Signature, Photograph and Qualifying Hall Ticket Number (Diploma/Class 12th). 

Category 2 - Candidates who want to correct details including, Qualifying Examination, Local Area Status, Qualifying Exam, Year of Appearing/ Passing, Non-Minority / Minority, Medium of Instruction in Qualifying Exam, Annual Income of the Parents, Place of Study, Mother’ s Name, SSC Hall Ticket Number, Birth State, Birth District Gender, Community Address for Correspondence, Mobile Number E-mail id, Special Category and Aadhaar Card details. 

For category 1, candidates who want to get their details corrected have to send an email with the required documents as under:
