PU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2026: Basic Requirements
The Panjab University takes admission to its 5-year BA LLB/ B.Com LLB and 3-year LLB courses on the basis of PU UGLAW and PU CET Law Entrance test.

PU LLB Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria: For 5 Year Integrated LLB Program
The eligibility criteria for the 5-year Integrated LLB courses at Panjab University are
- The candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board.
- Scored a minimum of 45% in the 10+2.
- There is no age limit
PU LLB Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria: For 3 Year LLB Program
The eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB course are
- The candidate should have passed a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university
- Should have scored at least 45% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
- Candidates of any age can apply; there is no age limit as such provided by the university.
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for PU UGLAW (Panjab University Undergraduate Law Entrance Exam) is the completion of the 10+2 or its equivalent examination.

The SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates need 10% marks and candidates from all other categories need 15% marks. The minimum qualifying marks for each category is based on the category-based reservation criterion. There will be total 100 question in the exam carrying 1 for mark each. Thus, SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates will have to achieve 10 marks to pass the PU UGLAW exam. However, General category candidates need 15 marks to qualify for the exam.
