Q: What is the eligibility criteria and selection process for admission to MBA programme at Amity University?

A: To be eligible for admission to the MBA programme at Amity University, applicants must have a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent in graduation from any recognised university in any discipline. Eligible candidates need to fill-up the form online by paying a nominal fee of Rs 1,100.

After the detailed screening of profiles, the candidates are called for a telephonic or virtual interview round. On the basis of applicants’ merit scores and performance in interview round, their admission is confirmed.

It is optional for students to appear for nationally accepted qualifying exams such as CAT, MAT, GMAT and XAT.

Q: What are the different specialisation options available to students?

A: Amity University offers a plethora of specialisations to students to choose from. Our curriculum is completely industry-embedded and is designed in coordination with the industry experts. Hence, we offer specialisations to students in domains such as:

  • Consultancy Management
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
  • Marketing and Sales
  • Rural Management
  • Transport and Logistics
  • Technology Management

Q: Do you also offer any sort of international exposure to students?

A: We want our students to be at par with international standards. Hence, we offer five-week Study Abroad Program (SAP) at Amity campuses in London, New York and Singapore, focused at imparting international exposure at no additional tuition fee.

Q: What is the total cost of the MBA programme? Are students offered scholarship or loan assistance?

A: The cost of the course is Rs 2.5 lakh per semester. The institute also offers scholarships to students based on their academic performance and scores of any nationally accepted qualifying exam (which is optional for students). The final scholarship is on the University’s discretion.

The University also has tie-ups with banks who provide educational loans to students. The management supports the students with all possible documentation.

Q: Can you share some insights on placements?

A: Amity University has a dedicated Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) that works actively throughout the year for strengthening corporate relationships.

The University has a track record of 100 per cent placement and provides placement assistance. Renowned companies such as Gati, TVS, Mahindra Logistics, Safexpress, Flipkart, PWC and FSC actively participate in the placement season. University has reported an average package of Rs 6.5 LPA and the highest package of Rs 12.5 LPA in MBA programme as of now.

No, you cannot use the CAT score for direct admission to the MBA programme at this university. Students who want admission to this university need to first attempt the CAT entrance exam and then appear for the selection rounds if they achieve the qualifying cutoff.
