IIM-wise IPM Admission Process 2027; Eligibility, Fees & Cutoff

IPM admission process 2027 depends on the aptitude test and the personal interview round. The IPMAT test is an entrance exam conducted for the five-year Integrated Management Program (IPM) at IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak.

IPM admissions 2027

IPM admission 2027 will be open to students who score well in the IPMAT examination. IPMAT helps students to start right after completing their 12th standard and graduate with an IIM degree after a 5-year program.  

Overview of IPM Program and IPMAT exam

The IPM program combines:

• 3 years of undergraduate study (like BBA or BA in management)

• 2 years of postgraduate study (like MBA)

The IPMAT scores are accepted by several IIM’s, few of the known IIMs accepting IPMAT scores are:

• IIM Rohtak

• IIM Indore

• IIM Ranchi

• IIM Shillong

Eligibility for IPM program

These are the eligibility criteria for the IPM program at IIM’s:

Age criteria

• General category: The aspirant should be born on or after August 1, 2006. 

• Reserved categories: The aspirant should be born on or after August 1, 2001.

Educational qualification

• Candidates must have completed their 12th standard/waiting for their 12th standard board result from a recognised education board.

• International board students can also apply. 

• The student must have scored at least 60% marks in the board exam (55% marks if they’re from reserved categories).

Other than these, all Indian as well as foreign nationals can apply for the IPM program by giving the IPMAT exam. Also, there is no limit on the number of exam attempts. Hence, students can give the IPMAT exam as many times as they want.

IPM Indore Cutoff 2026

For scoring well in the IPMAT Indore, you need to score well in all the sections of the exam. If the candidates fail even in one section, then they’re not eligible for the next round. Here is the IPM cutoff 2026 released by IIM Indore:

IPM Shillong Cutoff 2025

The IIPM Shillong 2025 cutoff consists of the combination of Class 10th marks (10%) + Class 12th marks (10%) + IPMAT score (30%) + Personal interview (50%). The 2025 cutoff is provided below:

However, after the IPMAT score, a personal interview is conducted for final selection.  The personal interview is conducted in online mode, and your IPM admission depends on both your IPMAT scorecard and the personal interview round. 

Students appearing for the IPMAT are suggested to understand the exam pattern by solving as many sample papers as possible and do their best. Also, clearing the IPMAT is not the only gateway to the IPM course; they also need to clear the personal interview round to reserve their seat in IIM.
