Q:   What is the BHU selection process for MBA programme?
A: 

Banaras Hindu University accepts CAT and CUET-PG scores for admission to its MBA programmes. For the MBA (IB) and MBA courses, aspirants should have a valid score of CAT. Shortlisted candidates are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round. The selection rounds along with the assigned weightage are mentioned below:

  • Qualifying exam: 50% weightage
  • Academic record: 20% weightage
  • GDPI (conducted by FMS, BHU): 30% weightage
Q:   Does AMU accept CAT?
A: 

AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for admission to PGDM programme at Praxis Business School?

Yes, to enroll in a PGDM course at the Praxis Business School, candidates must sit for and appear in the accepted management entrance exam. The selection criteria for the PGDM programmes are based on the scores obtained in the CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, or GMAT. Apart from the selection criteria, candidates must complete a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised institute or university. Those who are shortlisted will then proceed with the further selection round.
