IBSAT Selection Process 2025: Dates (OUT), Check Detailed Counselling Process

IBSAT 2025 results has been announced soon after the exam was conducted. The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education conducted IBSAT 2025 exam on December 27 and 28, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check IBSAT result online by entering IBSAT application number and date of birth. The IBSAT result mentions the candidate's details, section-wise score and overall scores obtained. 

IBSAT 2025 selection process result will be announced in April 2026. Candidates can check their results by:

1. Visiting official website of ICFAI Business School
2. Click on tab displaying 'Selection Process Result'
3. Screen will now display IBSAT login page 
4. Enter login details: 
   • Application number 
   • Password 
5. Screen will now display IBSAT 2025 final result for admission 
6. Save and take a print. 

IBSAT 2025 selection rounds will be conducted from second week of February 2026 at IBS Hyderabad. Candidates will be shortlisted for the IBSAT selection rounds based on their IBSAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT scores. 

IBSAT selection rounds will consist of two rounds- micro presentation and personal interview rounds. The final selection will be based on candidate's performance in past academics and selection rounds. Candidates must ensure to report at alloted exam centre on given date and time.

IBSAT selection process comprises of two rounds:

1. Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a topic in brief. Candidates will be given three topics and choose any one topic from it. This is done to test the communication skill of candidates.  
2. Personal Interview (PI): Those who have successfully cleared the micro presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT or any other national level entrance exam will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds which will be conducted in February/March 2025. 

ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad releases the IBSAT cutoff along with the declaration of results. The minimum required IBSAT cutoff scores for getting a GD/PI call scheduled at IBS Hyderabad is given below: 1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above 2. GMAT 500 + 3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+ The minimum cutoff score for INR 2 Lacs scholarship eligibility criteria is 1. CAT Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above 2. XAT Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 80 percentile and above 3. GMAT TM Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 550 and above 4. NMAT by GMAC TM Top 100 candidates with a minimum score of 225 and above. Candidates will be able to check the updates cutoff score on release of the IBSAT score. The IBSAT 2023 results are expected to be announced in last week of December 2023.

IBSAT final merit list is prepared on considering the following parameters- Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and past academic records and weightage. Check below to know the criterias:

• Personal Interview: 25%
• Past academic record: 50%

Only candidates who will qualify the above criterias, will be offered final admission to MBA/PGDM programme of applied IBS campuses. IBSAT 2025 selection process result will be announced tentatively in April 2026.

IBS Aptitude Test also known as IBSAT is conducted for admission to MBA/ PGDM programs of IBS nine campuses. Candidates having valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT/GMAT/MAH CET or any other state-level entrance examination are exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. Personal interviews can be stressful more than group discussions. The purpose of the Personal Interview is to assess the candidate's personality traits. To ace the Personal Interview round candidates must note the important points: Dress well for the interview Don't answer the question with incorrect knowledge, instead reply I don't know politely. Be polite throughout the interview. Panelist creates a stressful situation to assess candidates' patience and stress management skills Candidates must minimize the opportunity cost. Try to play on strengths and drive the interview towards strength to establish confidence in yourself. Stay calm and answer the questions while taking time to give them a thought. Candidates must keep themselves updated with current events. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Candidates must know themselves and the reasons to join the programme. Try to relate the qualities with the programme one wants to pursue. Give logical propositions. Back your answers with logic which will help to persuade the panelist (s). .

IBSAT 2025 scorecard has been released at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates who appeared for the IBSAT exam, scheduled on December 27 and 28, can check their results online. To download the IBSAT scorecard, candidates must enter their login credentials on the official website of ICFAI Business School. after loging in, screen will display the IBSAT scorecard. Candidates must note that no physical copy of the IBSAT 2024 scorecard will be issued to the candidates seprerately. Candidates must save and take the print of the IBSAT scorecard online only. 

Candidates who are shortlisted, must appear for the micro presentation/PI rounds on given date and time along with the required documents. Th final selection will be offered on the basis of the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
