Candidates willing to appear for UPESMET must ensure to fulfill the below prescribed eligibility criteria: Aspirants must be graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognised University Aspirant must have passed Class 10th and Class 12th with a minimum 50 percent aggregate Candidates in final year of qualifying examination are also eligible for UPESMET provided they can present the passing certificate by the time of admissions Candidates who have CMAT, MAT, MAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC and GMAT scores of either the same or previous year, are exempted from taking the UPESMET exam Non-Examination Pathway for PG admission Admission is offered based on national-level management entrance exams – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Up to 50 per cent of the seats are filled through the non-examination pathway category students. The minimum percentile required for entry to the non-exam pathway has been listed below: MAT score of minimum 80 percentile CMAT 2025 score of minimum 80 percentile XAT 2024/CAT 2023 score of minimum 75 percentile NMAT 2025 score of minimum 140 GMAT Scores

UPESMET application fee is INR 1350. Candidates aspiring admission to MBA programme of UPES Business School must fill the online application form. To complete the registration process, candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and pay the UPESMET application fee for successfull submission of application form. UPESMET 2025 registrations for phase 1 has commenced online. The UPESMET application fee for all categories is same.

Q: Can I pay UPESMET fee in offline mode?

No, UPESMET application fee cannot be paid in offline mode. The UPESMET registration process is completely online. Candidates will be required to pay the UPESMET application fee in online mode through any of the following mediums: Net Banking Credit Card Debit Card OR UPI/ Paytm Upon the payment of the UPESMET application fee, the confirmation page will be generated for successful payment of the UPESMET registration fee. In case, the conformation page is not generated, candidates are advised to approach the bank/payment gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the UPESMET Information Bulletin) for ensuring successful payment of the application fee and get the refund of the duplicate or multiple payments.

UPESMET exam date for each phase is announced by UPES on the official website. The examination is held in multiple phases every year. Candidates can apply for the UPESMET exam as per the phase wise cutoff dates. The exam is held online protcored mode. Candidates having valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT or any other national level entrance exam will be exempted from taking UPESMET exam. The exam is usually conducted every saturday.

The full form for UPESMET UG is UPES Management Entrance Test for Under Graduation. It is an management entrance test conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies for admission to BBA programe of UPES School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to undergraduate programe of UPES must appear for the entrance exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like UGAT will be exemted from taking the UPESMET UG exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. UPESMET UG is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

How to fill UPES Application Form 2025

The steps to fill UPESMET application form 2025 are explained below in detail:

Click on the ‘Apply Now' button on the official website or click on the link provided- https://admission.upes.ac.in/apply
The login page appears on the screen
New applicants can register with UPES by clicking on the ‘Register Now with UPES’ button
Enter personal details, date of birth, nationality, course, mode of application, etc.

Verify their mobile number by clicking the ‘Send OTP’ button

After verification, proceed towards filling in their academic details by clicking ‘Next Button’

Step 2: Fee payment

- Select the mode of payment between Paytm and PayU
- The application fee can be paid through the online payment gateway

Step 3: Filling the academic details

On this page, enter details of Class 10 and Class 12 and graduation like the year of passing and percentage of marks obtained
Click on the ‘Next’ button after entering all details
You will be redirected to the fee payment page

Step 4: Submit UPES application form 2025
