The summit continued with the same grandeur and enthusiasm as the first day, creating a platform for insightful discussions and knowledge exchange.

The second day of the Leadership Summit witnessed an array of captivating panel discussions under the theme, "Enhancing Identity for Indian Business and Leadership." The event was graced by the presence of esteemed corporate leaders, scholars, and industry experts who shared their invaluable insights on various facets of Indian business and leadership.

The day commenced with a welcome address by Girish Pahadiya, Corporate Relations Officer at IIM Raipur, who extended a warm reception to the distinguished guests.

The first panel discussion of the day, titled "Globalising Indian Business through the Local Workforce," was moderated by Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Professor of Marketing at IIM Raipur. The panelists delved into essential topics such as India's economic development pre and post-pandemic, as well as an exploration of Indian sociology. Key highlights from the discussion included:

- Chetan Hingu, Country Head (Inside Sales), AMD, emphasized the need for India to embrace different cultures and globalize its business effectively.

- Pankaj Jain, Director at PwC, underscored the importance of acquiring new skills and techniques to remain competitive.

- Pawan Kumar, Executive Director at SAIL, discussed India's emergence on the global stage and the need to diversify its export base.

- Chhitiz Kumar, Vice President of Health Systems at Philips, stressed the significance of strategic thinking, leadership, soft skills, and the importance of embracing diversity.

The second panel, moderated by Professor Parthasarathi Banerjee, Distinguished Professor of Strategic Management at IIM Raipur, delved into "Understanding the Indian Competitive Advantage for the Future." The discussion featured insights from:

- Anand Subbiah, CMO at Qualcomm India, who highlighted the necessity of self-sufficiency among future leaders and government incentives for manufacturing in India.

- Ms. Deepali Naair, CMO at CK Birla Group, who discussed India's strengths and weaknesses in various sectors, focusing on manufacturing and automotive excellence.

- Shri Sreenivas V, COO at Collabera Digital, lauded India's achievements in the IT sector and the value of execution and skill development.

- Prashant Dhariwal, Managing Director at Vaamaa Dairy, emphasized India's resilience and adaptability, showcasing the 'jugaad' approach to problem-solving.

The final panel discussion of the day, moderated by Prof. S. Ram Kumar, Professor of Practice Marketing at IIM Raipur, centered on "Financial Inclusion and the Fintech Revolution in India." Key takeaways included:

- Monica Jasuja, a Fintech Product Strategy Consultant, stressed the importance of financial inclusion and the role of social media in shaping India's global image.

- Shinoj Koshy, Partner at Luthra and Luthra, emphasized the power of technology in empowering people and the importance of data security.

- Antra Bhargava, Growth Leader, and Impact Changer, spoke about technology's role in bridging disparities in financial inclusion and the need for fair solutions in the financial sector.

The valedictory session of the Leadership Summit featured Major General (Dr) P Vivekanandan (Retd.) as the guest speaker, who shared insights on "Leadership in Defence and Public Administration." Professor Rashmi Shukla, Chairperson of Placements at IIM Raipur, extended a warm welcome to Major General Vivekanandan and highlighted India's five principles and leadership values derived from the armed forces.

The summit concluded with the Director's vision for the future and a heartfelt closing appreciation from Professor Rashmi Shukla, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of committees, teams, and student volunteers that contributed to the success of the event.
