NTA Declares JEE Main 2025 Cutoff for JEE Advanced: 93.1 for UR; 79.4 for OBC; 80.3 for EWS

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 result today. The cutoff for JEE Advanced has been released. Check the complete report below.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE Main 2025 for session 2. Candidates can access the results by logging into the JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will need to use their application number and date of birth to check their results. The JEE Main 2025 result is available in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard for session 2 includes the JEE Main 2025 cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam, which will be conducted on May 18.
IIT Kanpur has already announced that the number of top JEE Main candidates to be selected for JEE Advanced 2025 is 2.5 lakhs. The total number of candidates is slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of “tied” ranks/scores in any category. The total number of candidates selected this year is 250236. The percentages of various categories of candidates shortlisted are 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these five categories, a 5% horizontal reservation is available for Pwd candidates.

With this in mind, NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 cutoff for JEE Advanced exam. This year, the cutoff has slightly lowered in all categories, except for SC, where the cutoff has gone up by 1%. The cutoff is: 93.1023262 for UR; 79.4313582 for OBC; 80.3830119 for EWS-ALL; 0.0079349 for UR-PWD, 61.1526933 for SC-ALL and 47.9026465 for ST-ALL.
Last year, the JEE Mains cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam was: 93.2362181 for UR; 79.6757881 for OBC; 81.3266412 for EWS-ALL; 0.0018700 for UR-PWD, 60.0923182 for SC-ALL and 46.6975840 for ST-ALL.

JEE Advanced 2025 registration for JEE Main qualified candidates will be starting from April 23 at jeeadv.ac.in. To apply for JEE Advanced, candidates need to authenticate themselves by entering their JEE (Main) Application Number, Name and Date of Birth as printed on their JEE (Main) 2025 admit card.
