The IIM Ranchi Final Placement 2025 report highlights a 33% increase in the highest domestic cost-to-company (CTC) package, which reached an impressive ₹50.39 lakh annually for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student.

IIM Ranchi Final Placements 2025: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi has announced its Final Placement Report 2024-25 academic year. The report highlights a 33% increase in the highest domestic cost-to-company (CTC) package, which reached an impressive ₹50.39 lakh annually for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student.

According to the placement report, Pre-placement Offers (PPOs) saw a notable rise. Nearly 30% of MBA-Human Resource (HR) students and 19.8% of MBA students received PPOs before the final placements, a clear indicator of the institute's growing industry relevance.

In the placement ceremony, prominent figures such as Professor Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, and Professor Tanushree Dutta, Dean (Academics), were present to release the report.

Diversity and Strong Recruitment across Sectors

The placement process was joined by 96 distinct companies from diverse sectors including Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Fintech, Consulting, E-commerce, FMCG, Information Technology, and Manufacturing. The BFSI and Fintech industries emerged as the leading recruiters.

Key players like Amazon, American Express, Accenture, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Vedanta, HSBC, Titan, Infosys, and Wipro were among the top recruiters. This shows IIM Ranchi's increasing strength in attracting top-tier companies across industries.

Women and Fresh Graduates Contribute to IIM Ranchi Placement Success

The final placement report also shows promising trends for fresh graduates and women students. 59% of placed students were fresh graduates, while 31% were women, highlighting the institute's commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.

In addition, average annual salary offers saw a rise of 7.7% among the top 10% of students, while the top 25% saw an increase of 6.6%.

Growth in Consulting and Sales/Marketing Roles

One of the significant takeaways from this year’s report is the 33.33% growth in consulting roles. Additionally, sales and marketing roles saw an 28.6% increase in PPOs, reflecting the growing demand for skilled professionals in these sectors.

IIM Ranchi’s focus on integrated learning is evident through its diverse range of electives. With more than 24 electives offered, the institute equips its students with knowledge in areas such as Artificial Intelligence Strategy, Strategic HRM, Digital Marketing, and Design Thinking. These courses prepare students for roles in:

  • Technology Strategy Consulting
  • Business Analysis
  • Risk Management
  • Marketing Research Management
