CMC Vellore BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

CMC Vellore has released the BSc nursing result 2025 for the candidates who appeared for the exam. The BSc nursing exam has been released in the form of a merit list. Candidates can check and download the merit list to find out if they are eligible to participate in the Step-2 selection process. 

How to Check CMC Vellore Nursing Result 2025?

Follow the steps mentioned below to download the result:

1. Visit the official website of CMC Vellore BSc nursing 2025, admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in
2. Click on the 'Result' tab provided on the right side of the homepage
3. Click on 'BSc nursing Step-2 Call List 2025' 
4. A PDF will appear on the screen, search for your name in the merit list
5. In case your name appears, then you will be called for the Step-2 selection process.

A comprehensive list of 488 candidates has been released across all categories, such as Unreserved/General, open candidates (female), SC/ST, PwD, among others. 

Selected candidates are advised to regularly check their registered Email ID for call letter and further documents required for the Step II of the selection process. Candidates will be called for the selection and interview from July 8, 2025 to July 10, 2025. 

CMC Vellore BSc Nursing 2025 entrance exam is the gateway to admission to the top nursing institute in India. The conducting body of Christian Medical College (CMC) offers 50 seats at Chittoor campus and 100 seats at the Vellore campus for the UG-level programme. The BSc Nursing course at CMC Vellore campus is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and the Chittoor campus is affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

• Applicants must have passed class 12 exams having Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English subjects.
• The applicant must have secured a minimum of 45 percent in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually at the qualifying examination from any recognized board. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are given a 5 percent relaxation.
• Applicants should have passed in all subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by The Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent examination in a single attempt in all the subjects.
• The applicant should be 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before 31st December of the said year. The maximum age limit is 30 years and is relaxed up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Only unmarried women candidates are eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination under the vocational stream are not eligible to join the BSc Nursing Programme from CMC Vellore and Chittoor campuses.
• The shortlisted applicants have to produce an Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai at the time of registration for admission.

CMC Vellore Nursing admission process 2025 involves a set of events, and proper participation of the candidates is required to conclude the admissions. Below are the steps of the admission process: 

Step 1: Fill the CMC Vellore BSc Nursing Application Form

To start the admission process, candidates will have to register themselves at the official website. The application form requires personal details, academic details, and a passport-size photograph along with the scanned image of the signature. It is mandatory to pay the CMC Vellore application fee to complete the application process. 

Step 2: Download CMC Vellore BSc Nursing Admit Card

The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing admit card 2025 will be issued in the form of a hard copy at the centre on the day of the examination to access the entry into the examination hall. The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing admit card will be available for download online from the official website of the CMC Vellore by providing the application number and password. The admit card will be issued a few days before the exam date. 

Step 3: Computer-Based Tests

Step 5: Registration for Admission

Those finally selected for admission after interviews and tests would be required to register for the course by paying the tuition fee and completing other admission formalities. Students should submit their certificates in original. (Admission to the degree courses will continue to be provisional until approved by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University). Admission to nursing for the year is subject to being certified medically fit by the Medical Board of the Christian Medical College, Vellore.

The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing application process commenced on February 11, 2025 on the official website of the CMC Vellore. The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing application form-filling process will be organised completely online and requires personal and academic details. The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing application will only be considered complete and will be accepted by the conducting body after the payment of the application fee. The last date for filling the CMC Vellore application form was March 28, 2025. The last date for submission of supporting documents is April 1, 2025. 

The CMC Vellore BSc Nursing administrative fee is INR 2000/-. In addition, the registration fee for the Group A courses is INR 1700/-. Candidates will only be issued an admit card if they have completed the application process by making fee payment. The application fee must be paid online via UPI or Net banking.
