The All India Institute of Medical Science released the AIIMS Nursing Admit Cards and notified the AIIMS Nursing exam centres in it. The candidates were required to report at the AIIMS exam centres as per the time mentioned in the admit card. The AIIMS Nursing exam was conducted at the AIIMS and some other examination centre nationwide.

The AIIMS alloted the candidates to the nearest AIIMS from their place of residence, but the final discretion to change the examination centre lied with the AIIMS only. The AIIMS BSc Nursing Exam Centres were at 19 AIIMS and some other examination centres. The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 Exam was conducted online as a CBT on June 27.

AIIMS Nursing Test Centre Guidelines 2026

The AIIMS Nursing 2026 centre list has not been released by the conducting body, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, yet. For AIIMS BSc Nursing authorities mentioned that All Major Cities of India will be considered as exam centres by the authorities. The chosen centre city is subject to the availability of seats and other factors. After submitting the choices for the centre, no candidate will be allowed to change their preferences later. The exam time, date of exam, and the centre address, along with the centre code, and instructions to follow at the test centre, was mentioned on the AIIMS Nursing admit card 2026. No calculator, electronic device, or paper material having text like any book, copy, or small piece of paper will be allowed in the AIIMS Nursing examination hall. Any candidate found with any such material/object will be barred from the examination, and necessary action against him/her will be taken.

Applicants are advised to report at the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts; no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after surpassing the prescribed entry timings. Please note that AIIMS, New Delhi, reserves the right to change the chosen exam centre without prior permission of the application. However, he/she will be informed via email or through a notification on the website. 

AIIMS Nursing 2026 Exam Centres: The All India Institute of Medical Science will release the list of the exam cities in its information bulletin. The candidates are suggested to read and check the details of the designated exam centres so that they can opt the nearest exam centre in their AIIMS Nursing 2026 application form. The candidates will be required to opt three exam centres of their choice and they will be allotted one of them or any other in case the exam conducting body decides so.

The candidates should note that the AIIMS can release the information bulletin anytime on its website. Candidates will be allowed to choose the preferred test city by filling the registration process from the website, aiimsexams.ac.in. AIIMS conducted the BSc (Post Basic) exam on May 30, 2026, in CBT mode.

Q:   Who can appear for the UP CNET exam?

Candidates with minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2026 can apply for the nursing entrance exam. It is mandatory to have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together. English must be a mandatory subject in Class 12. 45 per cent aggregate marks in PCB for general category candidates, and 40% marks in PCB for reserved category candidates are mandatory. 

Q:   Does AIIMS Delhi conduct AIIMS BSc nursing exam at international locations also?

No, the AIIMS BSc nursing exam is conducted only in Indian states. It does not conduct the exam at international locations, unlike the NEET UG exam. The list of AIIMS BSc nursing exam will be released by AIIMS Delhi via an official notification, which will provide complete details about the application process, fee, and list of centres available in the country in various states. The seat for appearing in a particular centre will be subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Q:   When was the AIIMS application correction window for INI CET May 2026 exam opened?

The INI CET applications were started on March 28. The last date to apply online was April 25. The AIIMS provided the application correction window from April 30 to May 2.

How to Choose AIIMS Nursing Test Centre 2026?

At the time of filling the AIIMS Nursing application form, the candidate will come across a window in which he/she will be asked to choose the test centres as per their city preference. Candidates need to choose two preferences from the drop-down list as per the vicinity of their hometown. If in case the seats are not available in the first choice of centre city, the candidate will be automatically allotted the second preference near the first choice. As the test centre will be allotted on the basis of a first-come, first-served basis, therefore, candidates are advised to fill out the application form in a timely manner to get the test centre allotted in their first choice of centre city.

Yes, nursing graduates from Ahmedabad can apply for AIIMS nursing recruitment. AIIMS conducts its own recruitment exams for nursing officer positions. The basic eligibility is a B.Sc Nursing or GNM degree from a recognised institution and registration with the State Nursing Council.
