JEPBN Exam Dates 2026 (OUT): Application Started, Admit Card, Exam, Result, Counselling Dates

Exam is held for post basic BSc course across colleges in West Bengal. Check detailed analysis of each event given below:

• Registration: The JEPBN 2026 application has been started online. It is mandatory to apply for the entrance. Only West Bengal-domiciled candidates are eligible to apply for the exam. To register, candidates need to fill in various other information, such as domicile, category, PwD status, religion, nationality, and academic details.  The application fee is INR 3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) plus the Bank’s Service Charges.
• Admit Card: It is a mandatory document that is required at the test centre to seek entry to the examination hall. It can be downloaded online from the official website. It will be issued on May 27, 2026. 
• Exam day: The entrance will be held offline(OMR-based) on June 7, 2026. It will have 100 objective-type questions with four answer options. The exam duration is 90 minutes. Correct responses will yield 1 (one) mark for each question. Zero marks will be awarded for not attempting any questions. 
• Answer Key: The Answer Key is going to be released soon after the exam.
• Result: WBJEEB will release the result in July 2026 in the form of a Rank Card. It carries all relevant rank(s) and scores. Candidates can view and download it by logging in with the password issued at the time of the application process.
• Counselling: The counselling process for the Post-Basic Nursing (PBN) course will start in August 2026. There will be two rounds of counselling. The Registration fee for counselling will be notified in the official notification. The counselling will be for admission in the institutes and courses as per the uploaded seat matrix. 

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the JEPBN admit card on May 27 that will be ten days before the exam date. The JEPBN 2026 will be conducted on June 7, 2026.

How to Download JEPBN Admit Card 2026?

Students can download their hall ticket of JEPBN 2026 in the following manner:

• Go to wbjeeb.in
• First choose the desired exam for which the admit card needs to be downloaded
• Enter the lapplication number, password, and security pin
• The JEPBN 2026 hall ticket will appear on the screen

Applicants will be required to carry one photo identity card with the admit card.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the JEPBN 2026 result within a month from the exam date. The Board is expected to release the JEPBN merit list pdf in July 2026. After the result, the qualified candidates will be called for the Counselling process.
