Candidates should be medically fit.

Candidates should have passed Class 12 Senior Secondary or Intermediate or an equivalent examination on a recognised board.
Those who passed Class 11 in or before 1986 are also eligible for admission.
Candidates must have a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.
Candidates should have Domicile certificate of Jharkhand.
