JCECE BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2026
JCECE BSc Nursing 2026 exam is the gateway for admission to BSc Nursing and BSc Post Nursing programmes and both courses have different eligibility criteria.
BSc Nursing Course
- The applicant should have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects along with English Core/English Elective, securing 45 per cent in aggregate from a recognized board such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Applicants appearing for the class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45 percent in aggregate are also eligible.
- The applicant shall be medically fit
- The minimum age of the applicant shall be 17 years as on December 31 of the year in which admission is sought
BSc Post-Basic Nursing Course
- Applicant should have passed class 12 Senior Secondary or Intermediate or an equivalent examination on a recognized board. Applicants who have passed class 11 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.
- Applicant should possess a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.
- Applicants should have a domicile certificate of Jharkhand State
- The maximum age of the aspirants should be 35 years (45 years in the case of a regular employee of State Government) as on 31st December of the examination year
