Follow the steps mentioned below to check and download the JCECE nursing result: 

• Visit the official website of JCECEB, nursingbasic.jceceb.org.in
• Look out for the ‘BSc nursing Result’ button flashing under the ‘Download’ tab on the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in
• Results for the BSc Basic Nursing and BSc Post Basic Nursing will be published separately
• Enter the roll number and submit it to check your name

JCECEB will prepare the merit based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the state-level entrance exam, as well as based on reservation for both the courses, Basic BSc Nursing, and the same will be followed for the Post Basic BSc Nursing course.

The two types of JCECE BSC Nursing 2026 merit lists are:

• Combined Merit List
• Category-wise Merit List

The JCECE cutoff is released by the conducting body on the official website after the result announcement. Although a qualifying score will be mentioned in the prospectus, a category-wise expected cutoff is released for the aspirants to help them in the counselling process:

If in any case, two or more applicants secure the same marks then the situation will be called a Tie. The JCECEB has set some criteria for the Tie-Breaker, to have a fair result declaration process. Below are the criteria for the Tie-Breaker

For BSc Nursing

• An applicant with higher marks in Biology and Chemistry will be given preference
• If in case the marks secured in Chemistry and Biology are also equal then the student of less age will be given preference
• If in case the date of birth is also the same then the candidate with a name in ascending order in the English alphabet will be given a preference

For Post-Basic BSc Nursing

• Candidates with a higher score in Biology and Chemistry will be given preference
• If in case the marks obtained in Chemistry and Biology are also equal then the candidate who is elder in age will be given preference
• If in case the date of birth is also the same then the candidate with the first name in the English alphabet will be given a preference

After the JCECE 2026 result is declared by JCECEB, counselling will be conducted to grant admission to the nursing colleges in the state of Jharkhand. A separate notification with details of counseling/seat allotment and admission procedure will be published on the Board’s website shortly after the result declaration. The result will be declared in the form of a merit list for all the qualifying candidates. A scorecard will also be released, which can be downloaded from the official admission portal.
