JCECE BSc Nursing 2026 Merit List
JCECEB will prepare the merit based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the state-level entrance exam, as well as based on reservation for both the courses, Basic BSc Nursing, and the same will be followed for the Post Basic BSc Nursing course.

JCECE Nursing Expected Cutoff 2026
The JCECE cutoff is released by the conducting body on the official website after the result announcement. Although a qualifying score will be mentioned in the prospectus, a category-wise expected cutoff is released for the aspirants to help them in the counselling process:

JCECE BSc Nursing Tie-Breaker 2026
If in any case, two or more applicants secure the same marks then the situation will be called a Tie. The JCECEB has set some criteria for the Tie-Breaker, to have a fair result declaration process. Below are the criteria for the Tie-Breaker
For BSc Nursing
- An applicant with higher marks in Biology and Chemistry will be given preference
- If in case the marks secured in Chemistry and Biology are also equal then the student of less age will be given preference
- If in case the date of birth is also the same then the candidate with a name in ascending order in the English alphabet will be given a preference
For Post-Basic BSc Nursing
- Candidates with a higher score in Biology and Chemistry will be given preference
- If in case the marks obtained in Chemistry and Biology are also equal then the candidate who is elder in age will be given preference
- If in case the date of birth is also the same then the candidate with the first name in the English alphabet will be given a preference
What after JCECE Nursing Result 2026?
After the JCECE 2026 result is declared by JCECEB, counselling will be conducted to grant admission to the nursing colleges in the state of Jharkhand. A separate notification with details of counseling/seat allotment and admission procedure will be published on the Board’s website shortly after the result declaration. The result will be declared in the form of a merit list for all the qualifying candidates. A scorecard will also be released, which can be downloaded from the official admission portal.

The JCECE nursing test cities are decided by the conducting body, JCECEB. They release this list in the official prospectus every year for the aspirants. The cities are replaced also sometimes, and some new names get added, and older ones are dropped.
