The JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 registration process concluded on July 11, 2025. It was started by the official exam conducting body, JCECEB on June 18, 2025. JCECEB released the nursing application form online at the official website of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), nursingbasiccet.jceceb.org.in. The JCECE BSc nursing application process and the direct link to fill the application form were provided to the applicants.

Before applying, it is important to know the JCECE BSc nursing eligibility criteria laid down by the JCECEB. After the JCECE BSc Nursing registration concludes, the JCECE BSc Nursing application correction facility will be provided to make amends (if any). Q:   When can I edit the JCECE B.Sc Nursing application form if I have made a mistake while applying?
A: 

In case of any mistakes being made while filling the JCECE BSc Nursing application form 2026, candidates are advised to correct the application form during the JCECE BSc Nursing application correction window. The JCECE BSc Nursing 2026 application correction window will be open for 2-3 days to allow candidates to make required changes. The dates for this event will be released soon. 

Q:   What is application fee of JCECE exam for B.Sc?
A: 

Candidates have to pay the application fees while filling the form as per their respective category. Applicants who are from General, OBC & EWS category have to pay INR 900 while the remaining SC, ST and female candidates have to pay INR 450 as JCECE BSc Nursing application fees while doing the registeration.

Applicants who want to fill out the application form for JCECE BSc Nursing are advised to check the eligibility criteria first. According to the age-wise qualification, applicants must be 17 years old on December 31, 2026. While students need to pass class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) & English as a core subject with an aggregate of 45% marks.

JCECE BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2025

  • Only female applicants can apply for the exam
  • The applicant should be 17 years of age, as mentioned in the information brochure
  • The female applicants should have cleared class 12 exams or equivalent from a recognized board such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE
  • The applicant should have individually passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects with 45 percent in aggregate
  • Applicants appearing for the class 12 examination conducted by the National Institute of Open School,  having Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with 45 percent in the aggregate, are also eligible
  • The applicant should possess a Jharkhand domicile
  • The candidates should be physically fit (as per the medical criteria mentioned by JCECEB)

JCECE BSc Nursing (Post Basic) Eligibility Criteria 2025

The JCECE BSc Nursing (Post Basic) Eligibility Criteria 2025 is mentioned as under: 

  • Both Male and Female applicants are eligible to apply for the JCECEB BSc Nursing exam (Post Basic)
  • The applicant should have cleared an Intermediate (class 12) or equivalent examination in or before 1986, from a recognized University or Board in India
  • The applicants should have a certificate in general nursing and Midwifery and should be Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nurse Registration Council
  • The candidate should have a domicile in Jharkhand State
  • The candidates should be physically fit

For Male Candidates

As both genders, Male and Female, applicants are eligible to apply, the JCECEB has set some special criteria for male candidates. The male candidates should be trained in any of the following areas to apply for the JCECE BSc Nursing 2023 entrance test:

    • Cancer Nursing
    • Orthopedic Nursing
    • OT Technique
    • Psychiatric Nursing
    • Ophthalmic Nursing
    • TB nursing
    • Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing
    • Leprosy nursing
    • Community health nursing

The following candidates will be given preference for admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing:

  • The candidate who has worked as a grad nurse in any Government Service.
  • A grade Nurse who has worked under a state Government while following a contract.
  • A grade Nurse in a Non-Government Institute.

Steps to Apply for JCECE BSc Nursing 2025

The JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 application form-filling process involves three simple steps. After registering by providing the email ID and a suitable password, candidates have to log in using the same credentials to fill out the JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 application form. Below are the steps applicants can refer to have an idea about the application form filling process:

1: Providing Personal and Academic Details

Applicants are required to furnish their details such as their Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, contact details (for communication), address with pin code (for correspondence), and academic details such as the year of qualifying exam (class 12), name of subjects studied in the qualifying exam (class 12), marks scored, etc. Candidates might also be required to upload their Higher Secondary mark sheet

2: Image Uploading 

After furnishing all the personal and academic details in the application form, applicants will have to upload their recent passport-size colour photograph and scanned image of their signature along with the scanned copy of their left-hand thumb impression in the required size and format.

JCECE BSc Nursing Application Fee 2025

Applicants should ensure that they pay the JCECE BSc Nursing application fee on or before the deadline. The JCECEB will not accept any application form without receiving the JCECE BSc Nursing application fee. The JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 application form will only be considered complete after the application fee payment. Applicants of General/OBC candidates have to pay INR 900 for the BSc Post Basic course, and INR 450 for SC/ST candidates for the same. The JCECE BSc Nursing application fee can be paid online using a debit/credit card or Net Banking.

The JCECE nursing is an offline exam, which means that candidates will be given an OMR-sheet to fill in the answers. It will be a pen and paper based exam for which there will be instructions to follow at the test centre.

No, as the exam is targeted to grant admission to the Jharkhand domiciled nursing aspirants, it will not be held in Delhi NCR. The test centres will be allotted in the popular cities of the state only.
