The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has concluded the counselling process for the JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 admissions. All the counselling-related events and activities were carried out online through the official website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The important steps to participate in the counselling were the release of the seat matrix, followed by the registration process, choice filling, and seat allotment, which was carried out for each round of counselling. The JCECE BSc Nursing counselling began in August 2025.
The JCECEB conducted five rounds of counselling to fill all the seats across the nursing colleges in Jharkhand State. Candidates who qualified for the JCECE nursing cutoff were called in for the counselling process based on the merit list. The JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 documents verification process was done offline, and candidates had to report in person on the day of counselling to fulfill the formalities. JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 Counselling Process
The JCECE BSc nursing 2025 counselling process for Round 1 is mentioned below:
- Qualifying candidates were invited to participate in the first round of counselling based on merit ranking
- In the first round, the applicants were allowed to choose the institute/college of their choice.
- Following the verification of the required original certificates/ documents and prerequisites in accordance with the laid eligibility criteria, seats were allotted to the applicants.
Counselling process for Round 2:
- JCECEB conducted the second round for the seats left vacant after the first round of counselling
- Applicants who were already allotted seats in the first round of counselling could also participate in the second round in order to upgrade to the already allotted college.
- To confirm their admission, applicants had to pay the seat acceptance fee (last year, INR 1,000/- was charged) via the Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of the Controller of Examination, JCECEB, payable at Ranchi.
On similar lines, a total of five rounds of counselling were conducted to fill the vacant seats in the nursing programme for the Jharkhand state.
JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 Counselling Fee
The JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 application fee was set by the conducting body. JCECE charged INR 400/- for General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II categories for participation. The application fee for ST/SC/Female candidates of all categories is INR 250/-.

Applicants can pay the JCECE BSc Nursing counselling fee by either RTGS or by using a Credit/Debit card to participate in JCECE Counselling.
Documents Required for JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 Counselling
Applicants were required to produce the following documents in original and a set of self-attested photocopies of the same to participate in JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 counselling:
- Class 12 Admit Card
- Mark sheet of Class 12
- Passing certificate (original/provisional) of Class 12
- Class 10 Admit Card
- Mark sheet of Class 10
- Passing certificate (original/provisional) of Class 10
- Local Resident Certificate issued by SDO (Civil)/ DC of Jharkhand state
- Caste Certificate issued by SDO (Civil)/ DC of Jharkhand state.
- One passport-size photograph, the same as used during the time of Registration
- JCECE BSc Nursing 2025 Admit Card
- Disability Certificate issued by Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital
