Q:   What is the fee structure of Thapar University? How's their faculty of B.Tech?
A:

Honestly, Thapar is a good private engineering college, but it does come at a cost.

For B.Tech, the total expense for 4 years (including tuition + hostel) usually goes around ₹28–35 lakhs, depending on your branch and accommodation. It's on the higher side compared to many colleges, so budgeting is important.

As for faculty, most professors are qualified (many with PhDs), and academics are taken seriously. Teaching quality is generally considered good, especially in core branches like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical. Like any big university, experiences can vary by department and individual professor.

If fees aren't a major constraint and you get a good branch, Thapar is considered a solid option.

Q:   Is Panjab University better than Delhi University
A:

Both, Panjab University and Delhi University are significant government universities. The choice depends on the candidates' requirements. The deciding factors include course, career goals, location, placement aspirations, etc.

While, DU is ideal for UG courses, corporate placements, and diverse exposure. PU is ideal for PG courses in law and pharmacy, and preparation for Govt exams.

Usually, candidates prefer DU because of its tier-one colleges constantly ranked among the top colleges in India as per NIRF.
