The admission process for the BSc course at Anna University initially starts with registration, which candidates need to do through their mobile number and email address. However, before this registration, an applicant should make sure that they have fulfilled their basic eligibility. 
Once the registration is done, upload the supported documents, then pay the prescribed application fee, wait for the merit list to be released, and if your name is in the merit list, appear for the TANCET counselling and confirm your admission with fee payments.

Bharathiar University and Anna University both offer BSc courses. Candidates can compare two institutes on the basis of BSc course fee structure, placements,  cutoffs, reviews, seats, courses, and other information. Now for the comparison, one can take the ratings of the university into account. As per the verified Shiksha reviews, Bharathiar University has achieved a 4.2 out of 5 rating. Similarly, Anna University has received 4. Thus, the difference between ratings is not major.

The application process for Anna University offered courses is done through a single-window application system. Moreover, at the time of applying for the course online, candidates can choose their preferred affiliated college too. However, allotment of colleges is managed according to the number of seats and performance in the selection criteria. Applicants should apply for the course through the official website of the university with their academic and other important details and can choose their course, the entrance exam they have appeared/ want to appear for, etc.

Anna University has been given a rank of 426 by the QS World University Ranking 2024. It has been ranked 14th among the top Universities in India by NIRF 2023. Anna University is famous for its Engineering courses from the College of Engineering Guindy campus. One of the affiliated colleges of the university, named CEG Guindy, has been ranked 13th in the Engineering category by NIRF's previous rankings. Even the university provides us with notable alumni, who have acheived milestones in their respective fields. The names of the alumni are A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Ravichandran Ashwin, S. Nambi Narayanan, and Nagarjuna.

TANCET exam details are released around the month of January every year. Candidates find the start dare for the TANCET registration along with the TANCET syllabus, infomation brochure, and exam date. Additionally, the TANCET website mentions the notification release date beforehand. TANCET notification will have registration start date and end date along with fee and invitation to apply for the exam.

TANCET exam is conducted for all candidates who apply for the same. Every year, Anna University releases the TANCET question papers for the previous exam term for candidates to prepare for the upcoming exam. The Anna University MBA cutoff 2025 varies for different colleges, rounds, and categories. The MBA course is offered via affiliated colleges of Anna University, wherein the last round cutoff score for MBA admission stood at 5641 for Selvam Educational Institutions, 5632 for Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management and 5615 for M.A.M. Business School, Tiruchirappalli, for the students belonging to the General AI quota.

With a cutoff of 200, the probability of securing admission is high if you belong to the General AI category, there is a chance that you will get a seat at Madras Institute of Technology, affiliated with Anna University. If you belong to the General AI quota, Kumaraguru College of Technology has the highest cutoff rank of 5605 for admission to the B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science course. The lower the cutoff rank, the higher the competition, and vice versa. Other available colleges of Anna University for admission, with comparatively relaxed cutoff ranks of 6119 and 8426, were the Chennai Institute of Technology and Anna University - Coimbatore Regional Campus, respectively.
