Hello MMMM, you have a very nice nickname. I am sure you would have a good name also. Why shy away from disclosing your name it doesn't matter on this platform. It's okay. You have obtain very nice marks in intermediate but compared with this your scoring in JEE Mains at a percentile of 72 appears to be a bit on the lower side. 30% of the seeds are allotted based exclusively on your performance in the 12th standard and the balance 70% are allotted by combining the 12th results with JEE Mains examination. This is so since almost every student gave this branch as the first choice.

Hello Harish, whether in your own state or in any NIT across India the minimum requirement is that you should have percentile which should be equal or more than decided by NTA when they declared the results of JEE Mains examination few days back. Yes, your son can apply under the CIWG quota. The CIWG scheme is for children of Indian workers in Gulf countries who are seeking admissions to NITs, IIITs, CFIs & Spans. The only difference from 2023 is that JEE Main Rank will be considered valid, not SAT 2. To apply under the CIWG quota, your son needs to produce all the following documents:
Copy of the passport of the parent working in the gulf
Parents visa and work permit with a validity on any date in the year 2023
Certificate from the company/ organisation as proof that parent is working in gulf country. I hope this helps.

The cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE Main All India Rank- 2021 is fixed by IHQ of MoD (Navy). However, there have been students who had secured a rank of more than 3,50,000 and yet were unable to get themselves selected for this. So it is difficult to say whether you will get a call letter or not. I hope this helps.

You have very low chances of getting admission in any of the NITs based on your JEE Main percentile score and category rank. Try for admission in private colleges through state counselling.
