Ph.D Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to the PhD course at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), candidates are required to possess a master's degree or its equivalent, with a minimum aggregate of 55%. This academic qualification is a prerequisite for candidates seeking to pursue a PhD programme at JKLU. Meeting the specified eligibility criteria is necessary for consideration and acceptance into the PhD course.

For admission to PhD at Faculty of Computer Applications MRIIRS, candidates are required to pass any master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate in relevant subject/stream.

For admission in PhD, candidates have to appear in the RTU DAT entrance test followed by an interview.

Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering /Technology from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate is the eligibility criteria for PhD in JNTUH.  

Admission to the PhD programme is based on an entrance test followed by an interview. Candidates with UGC-NET (including JRF), CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, teacher fellowship score or who have passed MPhil Programme is exempted from the entrance exam but is required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI).

The candidates are offered admission based on:

• Performance in the entrance exam: 80% 
• Master's research by Thesis and Quality of Thesis: 10%
• Interview: 10%

Candidates must have a master's degree with a minimum GPA of 55% in order to be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme at VBSPU. Candidates with appropriate work experience or national-level fellowships may also qualify. In most cases, the entrance exam (PUCRET) and the interview make up the admissions procedure. The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue PhD at MGKVP is that students must have completed their UG and PG degrees with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Those who have done an MPhil degree with 55% aggregate are, however, also eligible for admission to this course. Final admission to PhD is subject to the Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the MGKVP. Master's degree with 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy)/ Differently Abled/ Other reserved categories) or equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale is the basic eligibility for PhD at IIHMR Jaipur.
