UP BEd JEE 2025 Direct Admission on Minority Seats

Minority institutes have the right of admission to minority seats by conducting their own entrance examination, but often many minority institutes do not conduct their own examination, and complete their admission process by admitting students from the merit list of candidates who have appeared in the joint entrance examination. Then they send the list of admitted students for verification. This process takes a lot of time and labor. To facilitate the process and the minority institutions, an additional round of counselling is being proposed.

  • Minority institutions have already participated in the regular counselling (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 & Round 4) for their non minority seats (50% seats in the institute).
  • This round of counselling will be for minority seats only (the remaining 50% seats of institute). Minority institutions can fill the minority seats through this round of counselling if they want.
  • This round of counselling is not compulsory for the minority institutions. Only those minority institutions that wish to fill their minority seats through candidates from the merit list of BEd JEE 2025 need to participate.
  • Minority institutes can also carry out their admissions on minority seats by any other process by fulfilling the conditions of BEd admissions with the consent of the University to which they are affiliated. In this case, the list of admitted students will not be verified by the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
  • This round of counselling is done at the institute level. Detailed guidelines for the process to be adopted by institutes participating in the process will be given soon on the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi website.
  • Admissions in regular seats in institutes with minority status will be done during round-1, round-2 and round-3 of the counselling process. In round 4, admissions will be carried out on minority seats only.
  • Only those candidates can take part in this round of counselling who possess a valid state
rank. Candidates can be admitted to any institute on minority seats only.
  • Only those candidates who have not been admitted in any round of counselling are eligible to be admitted on minority seats.
  • The institute will verify the candidate’s details from the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi website and give direct admission to candidates as per the rules.
  • Verification of the candidate will have to be done by entering the OTP sent to the registered and alternate mobile numbers of the candidate on the BEd JEE 2025 counselling portal.
  • Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 750/- for participating in the admission process for minority seats
