A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The TNEA 2026 counselling application window is expected to launch in the first week of May 2026 for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The ATMA 2026 May session registration has started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Apr 21, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for May 3, 2026.
- The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.
- The TANCET 2026 application form is live until Apr 10, 2026, for admission to the MBA course. Also, the TANCET exam 2026 is scheduled for May 9, 2026.

AMET Chennai offers around 10+ specialisations in BE, among which BE in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering holds the highest sector of the placement record. The University offers BE in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering as a UG-level full-time degree for 4-years. It provides 60 seats with tuition fees of INR 9.40 Lakh.
AMET Chennai admission is conducted online through merit and entrance. Candidates must secure 40% - 60% in Class 12 and 50% in graduation. Along with the marks, candidates must appear for any of the entrance exams such as JEE Mains, TANCET, ACAT, TNEA, TSC etc. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria and the list of all the admission criteria given on the official website. Candidates must also check for scholarship applications and fill in as per the eligibility criteria. The AMET Chennai admission process includes registration, followed by application submission. It is unclear whether candidates will get a refund for the MBA admission fes if they cancel their admission. Generally, Emversity does not offer refunds of any kinds to any student under any circumstance.
Thus, candidates can assume that the AMET University Powered by Emversity MBA fees is not refun

Yes, candidates can directly apply for AMET University Powered by Emversity MBA course once they clear their UG level course. Candidates are not evaluated based on any entrance exam scores during MBA admissions.
Instead, the selection is based purely on merit of last qualifying exam.

No, PCM is not a mandatory Class 12 stream in order to be eligible for AMET University Powered by Emversity BSc courses. The eligibility criteria for the BSc course allows candidates of all streams to apply for admissions.
There are also no mandatory subjects that candidates must have during Class 12
