The placement scenario in this particular branch of chemical engineering is very poor, where only three to four students get placed in mass recruiting companies such as Infosys, etc.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Good teachers, but poor placements and basic infrastructure.
Placements: As far as I know, the college does not provide effective placement opportunities for BCA students. My batch, 2023–2026, has around 180 BCA students. To the best of my knowledge, none of them has been placed through the college. There do not appear to be sufficient campus recruitment drives or placement support for BCA students.
Infrastructure: Facilities are basic. Classrooms have no Wi-Fi and lack proper AC. Wi-Fi is available in labs, but students cannot use it. Computer labs and a library are available. However, the overall infrastructure and student facilities need significant improvement.
Faculty: I would give teachers 5/5. Most teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. However, teachers often change or leave the college every semester. Many are former students of the same college. The syllabus is relevant. More practical and industry-focused learning would help students become job-ready. Semester exams are generally manageable with regular study. The passing marks are 300/600. This means 50%.
Other: I chose BCA because I am interested in computers. I want to build a career in IT sector. The best part of the course is learning programming and computer-related subjects. However, the course could be improved with better practical learning. Internship opportunities can also be improved. Placement support can also be improved. Events and extracurricular activities are available. There is scope for improvement in campus facilities.

My college and my journey to entrepreneurship.
Placements: 55% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was offered to my friend Sarthak Pandey, which was 9 LPA. The average package was around 5 to 6 LPA. Internships were mostly provided at Ashok Leyland, Britannia, and Tata Telco. I actually don't know what the top roles offered were, but some students were managing accounts, and some were working in recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college has a very large campus. It includes the library, an international playground named after the college, a dedicated computer room, the hospital, and the canteen. Everything is available inside the campus, from medicine to food. The food quality in the canteen is good. Sometimes the hostel food is bad, but most of the time the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. The behavior of teachers is very good. Both female and male teachers are good. The Accounts Department teacher is a bit rude. The course curriculum is actually relevant, and most of my classmates are doing some kind of job related to their studies. A few of them are preparing for government jobs as usual. The semester exams aren't really that tough. The quality of education might be the reason. They taught us so well that everything seemed easy.
Other: I always wanted to study business because I want to do business. I never found my interest in jobs. I found business very interesting, so I wanted to study business studies. I don't think there are many things that need to be improved to make the course better. However, there might be a need to make some changes to the classroom schedule. There are only 6 classes happening in a day. I think that can be limited to 3 classes a day, subject-wise. The college hosts events and fests.

Regret of a lifetime. There are no placements, internships, or campus life.
Placements: I only know one person from my college who got a job through campus placement, with a package of around 3–3.5 LPA. There are not many good recruiting companies visiting the campus, so placement opportunities are quite limited. Most students have to look for jobs and internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent, and the library is also good enough for studying. Wi-Fi access is a bit limited, as students can mainly use it through the computers in the library or the computer lab. I don't stay in the hostel, so I can't really say much about the hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are decent, especially for the subjects of the first 2 years. The course curriculum is not always relevant to the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult, especially subjects like Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and TAFL. The pass percentage is 33%, I guess.
Other: My course is B.Tech. I like the fact that I don't unnecessarily have to become an engineer. I can also pursue government jobs, banking, startups or business, and higher studies. Something I wish is that the total number of subjects should be reduced, and only those relevant to the industry should be included. There are small fests or events every semester. We also have sports days and dance events for extracurricular activities.

Lloyd Institute of Engineering College review.
Placements: Approximately 95 percent of students were placed from my college. The highest package in our college is 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Coca-Cola, TCS, and many more MNC companies. Around 99 percent of students get their internship offers directly from the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available at this college are very attractive. The best labs are available here, along with top-class classrooms and a well-stocked library for the students. The college has a great environment, and the best canteen facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are the best, they are well-educated as well as highly disciplined. They make our study curriculum very easy, and we can clear all semester exams smoothly under their guidance. No major difficulties are faced during the semester exams.
Other: The college offers a great overall environment, which makes choosing this course a good decision. The best thing about my course is the very supportive faculty available in this college. They regularly organize events and fests whenever needed.

Decent academics and facilities, but students need to build their own skills.
Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE at IPEC and I am in my 5th semester. Since my batch has not passed out yet, the final placement percentage average, the highest, and the lowest packages are not available for us. The college has a placement cell and companies visit here for recruitment. The college offers regular free courses and internships, which add value-added experience. Overall I would say the opportunities are decent and the current state is that the average package is around 4.5 LPA. The highest package is 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: The CSE Department has decent facilities with well-equipped computer labs with fair Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, classrooms, and library. I don't stay in a hostel, so I can't tell you about the mess facilities, but the cafeteria has high quality food serving.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is decent. The curriculum covers important core CSE subjects but students still need to learn extra skills for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderate and manageable with regular preparation.
Other: I chose CSE because I'm interested in software development and technology. The best part is exposure to programming and different areas of Computer Science.

Very good campus, infrastructure, and decent placements.
Placements: Around 80% of my ECE seniors get placed, while the rest choose higher studies. The highest package offered is 23 LPA. The average package is around 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Many companies visit for campus placement drives, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T, etc. Placements are improving in Galgotias due to industry collaborations.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Hostel rooms are decent. Mess food is average but manageable. Sports facilities are also available on campus. Classes are air-conditioned. There are many cafes and shops on the campus.
Faculty: Most faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are moderate. Project work is encouraged, which adds practical value. Course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. All teachers are well-qualified and educated. Teaching quality is good.
Other: Good fests and hackathons happen regularly. It is worth joining, but it depends on the branch.
