Master of computer Applications (MCA) admission at Institute of Engineering and Technology AKTU is offered to the students on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam.

AKTU MCA fees is 64775 INR (yearly) for two years.

The eligibility criteria for opting for MCA degree in AKTU is as follows:

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.

My review of KIET as a first year.

Placements: So I will tell you the complete truth about it. The highest placement is 87 LPA, which is a huge number if you look at the college level, while the lowest is 3.6 LPA from Infosys. The average package is not clear, but around 5–6 LPA. Infosys and TCS internships are quite low. The developer is the highest role.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, this college is good, but the biggest con is that it has quite a small campus of 17 acres. However, the main buildings are well maintained. They provide all types of facilities, labs are well-equipped, Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole campus, and sports facilities are also there along with a gym and all.

Faculty: Mainly, teachers are from NIT and other government colleges. A few are very good in their field, while a few are just boring, which is the same in every college, I guess. The curriculum is great if we compare it to other AKTU colleges, as we are getting software like Fusion 360, learning web development, and all in the first year.

Other: Actually, I have always been fascinated towards technology and all, so that’s the most basic reason for choosing B.Tech.

Placements: No, college does not provide internship opportunities, but placements are provided as various companies come to recruit students in best companies. Many companies like TCS, Accenture, Mendenious, Learning Routes, Planet Spark, and various EdTech or sales companies.

Infrastructure: Sports labs and many activities are conducted, like management games, to enhance skills of students. Yes, in my college there is separate boys and girls hostel in the college campus, and there is very good infrastructure and safety around the college.

Faculty: In this college, the internal exam is conducted periodically in every semester and external exam is conducted by CSJMU University. Faculty is supportive and kind, and the relationship between the faculty and students is so nice and good. Every faculty is best faculty.

Placements: We are in 3rd year now. The placement of our college is average. Mostly good placements are off-campus. I am not much aware of the placements. As the focus of our college remains mostly on academic. They prioritize sessional marks and stuff. The labs are just for formality. However, they are providing us technical training with Anudip. Hope it helps.

Infrastructure: I am a day scholar student. I have no idea how hostel would look like from inside. Hope you can confirm it with the one who are in hostel. Food quality of our canteen in pretty good. You can eat it. Wi-Fi facility is totally useless. You have to rely on your mobile date. Important note only Airtel works here. Labs and Classrooms has ACs. Library is okay.

Faculty: Teachers provide notes that are helpful for the examination. Some teachers explain well while others not. Sessional examination are helpful. They happen in two shifts covering half syllabus each time. You need to study. Every subject has 5 unis. Each unit are lengthy. But you can still do them one week before exam. Just hill!

Other: I choose this course as I am interested in engineering and computers. The course contains all the basics of almost every domain. We should have less subjects after 3rd years. As we have so much things to do. There is Vibgyor event.
