AMU B.P.Ed Courses & Fees

Aligarh Muslim University, popularly known as AMU offers a two-year full-time Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to this course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. AMU B.P.Ed admission is based on candidates' performance in a Physical Fitness & Skill Test conducted by the department. The departmental test shall be held at the Aligarh campus only. The highest achievement certificate in sports from three previous academic sessions will also be considered for B.P.Ed admission at AMU. 

For Aligarh Muslim University B.P.Ed admission, candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% and have at least participation in the InterCollege/Inter-Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/ IOA / SGFI / Govt. of India. Students with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject are also eligible for AMU B.P.Ed admission. 

Candidates pursuing B.P.Ed from AMU can choose among following profiles - 
Gym/ Personal Trainer, Professional Athlete, Sports Journalist, Sports Administrator and Yoga Trainer, among others. 
B.P.Ed. is a three-year course that aims to discuss the importance of physical fitness in everyday life to improve physical and mental well-being. Physical education comes in very handy for those seeking a long career in sports and related fields.

Aligarh Muslim University accepts Persian/4 exam to shortlist candidates for admission to seven undergraduate courses. 

The list of AMU courses, admission to which is based on performance of the candidate in CUET, is mentioned below:

Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-listed courses need to fill out the CUET application form through the CUET official website to appear for the entrance exam. The Aligarh Muslim University conducts AMU entrance exam to shortlist candidates for admission to various courses. The AMUEE application process is conducted online on the official website if the University. Aspirants need to pay AMU application fee to confirm their application submission.

AMU offers a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in three specialisations. The total number for B.E seats at AMU is a summation of the seats available for various BE specialisations. The same has been presented in the table below:

During AMUEEE registration, candidates will have to pay the fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. The AMUEEE application fee is INR 1050. Offline payments will not be accepted. The late fee is INR 1350.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. AMU courses are being offered under AMU's 13 faculties, including Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology and Law, among others. AMU cutoff 2023 has been released in the form of firm lists on the official website at results.amucontrollerexams.com. Candidates seeking AMU admission can check their results on the mentioned website. AMU has released firm lists for a total of six courses for admission through CUET scores, these courses are BA (Hons) Boys, BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, BA (Hons) Girls, BSc (Hons) Boys, BSc (Hons) Community Science and BSc (Hons) Girls. The University has released upto two firm lists for all courses except BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, for which third round of firm list has been released.

AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.

Shortlisted candidates have to present a list of documents for verification purposes at the time of admission to the courses offered at AMU. Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of physical reporting:

1. Mark sheet of last qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
2. Transfer/migration and character certificate (If the Certificate is not available, an undertaking on the prescribed format is to be submitted within the due date)
3. High school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth
4. Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (with white background)
5. Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the application form
6. Leave sanction/relieving order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
7. Name removal certificate from the rolls of the concerned faculty/college/unit (if already enrolled in another full-time course at AMU)
8. Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
9. Two Undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging
10. the latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for BSc Nursing course)

AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment 2023 was 3304 for MBBS and 29688 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota. According to cutoff 2022 MBBS closed at 3028 for Round 1 and for 2021, it closed at 3162. In case of BDS cutoff 2022 BDS closed at 27586 for Round 1 and for 2021, it closed at 22147. Hence going as per the last three year cutoff ranks for NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment closing ranks, candidates can expect MBBS cutoff to range between 3028 and 3304. For BDS course candidates can expect cutoff 2024 to range between 22147 and 29688.

The curriculum of BSc (Hons) in Mathematics at Aligarh Muslim University is based on the CBCS scheme.  It includes a combination of core and elective subjects related to the wide field of Mathematics. Some of these subjects are listed below:

AMU NEET Cutoff 2025 was released till Round 5 for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. AMU accepts the NEET Cutoff ranks, followed by AMU NEET Counselling for admission to the medical courses. The AMU Cutoff 2025 for NEET was released for all categories under the All India quota. 

For the General category candidates, the cutoff for MBBS course admission was  12762, according to the last round closing ranks. For the BDS course admission, the last round closing rank was 29279.  Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for each category, round, courses, etc.

AMU MBBS cutoff 2025 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2025 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses.. AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Last Round seat allotment was 121762 for MBBS and 38852 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota.
