Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The Aligarh Muslim University conducts AMU entrance exam to shortlist candidates for admission to various courses. The AMUEE application process is conducted online on the official website if the University. Aspirants need to pay AMU application fee to confirm their application submission.

Yes, candidates who wish to apply for BBA admissions at AMU must appear for the AMU entrance exam to qualify. Unlike other UG level course admissions, AMU only accepts the scores of its inhouse written test to decide the admissions to the BBA course.

AMU BUMS Admission Dates 2025

AMU AIAPGET Cutoff was released for admission to three MD specialisations in Ayurveda, namely MD in Ilmul Advia, MD in Moalejat, and MD in Kulliyat. The cutoff was released for all categories and rounds for the students belonging to the All India quota.

AMU offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. The University is currently accepting applications for its MBA courses, interested candidates must visit the official website of AMU to apply online. Aligarh Muslim University accepts AMU-CAT entrance tests for MBA admission. Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) is conducted by the University. The date of the AMU entrance exam is yet to be released by Aligarh Muslim University. However, the AMU-CAT entrance test generally conducts in June every year.
If candidates submit the NEET application form with an incorrect email address, they will not receive email notifications. NTA does not allow candidates to change or correct their email addresses in the application correction window.

AMU Entrance Exam 2026 will be conducted for B.A. LL.B. Course admission. The law entrance exam will be held in Aligarh, Kozhikode (Kerala), Kolkata (WB). The exam was held at AMU test centres located in seven cities across India I. e. Aligarh (UP), Srinagar (J&K), Lucknow (UP)Patna (Bihar), Kolkata (WB), Khanapara (Meghalaya), and Kozhikode (Kerala). AMU NEET Cutoff 2025 was released till Round 5 for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. AMU accepts the NEET Cutoff ranks, followed by AMU NEET Counselling for admission to the medical courses. The AMU Cutoff 2025 for NEET was released for all categories under the All India quota.

AMU releases course-wise Firm Lists on based on CUET as well. AMU Counselling 2023 is to be conducted up to maximum of ten rounds for some courses like BTech whereas for other courses it is majorly conducted till seven or eight rounds, depending on the availability of the seats. AMU releases the Select List or the Interview Lists for the candidates who have been provisionally selected for AMU Counselling 2023, followed by the release of Firm Lists which contain the name of students finally selected for admissions after the counselling. The round-wise seat allotment results can be checked by the registered candidates on the official website of AMU as and when these are released.
Candidates are required to register themselves round-wise for AMU Counselling for admission to specified cource.
