It is one of the best marine colleges in India.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Around 85% of students get internships from our course, and get selected in the best companies. There is a very wide range of jobs available, and many government jobs for the higher post are also available in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and the special one is our library. It is one of the best libraries in our district and a variety of books related to the marine faculty are available. The hostel facility is also good, and the hospital facilities are also very near to the college, and sports are also available.

Faculty: Teachers who are taking classes to our courses are very well experienced. Each of them is experienced almost 20 years or above 25 years so no doubt in the teaching quality it is very good in this course. The curriculum and the study are related to industry-based so, no more problems in practical, exams are difficult as compared to other departments. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I opted for this course, because the various opportunity is available even students can be an entrepreneur or businessman after completing this course. The students are very close to each other even other state students are studying in this college and they are also very friendly.

I am satisfied with faculty members, placements and facilities.

Placements: Above 75% of the students get admission in this course. The average salary package offered was about 5 LPA-6 LPA. Placements were good in our college with a peaceful environment. There was a separate college for the marine department in Annamalai University at Parangipettai. Many private companies recruit students from my college. Placements were good in my college.

Infrastructure: Our college is nice, and the hostel has better infrastructure. RO water was provided with good quality. The food served was good at affordable prices. Hospitals are available near our college. More than 5,000 marine-related books are available in the library. Every year the tuition fee was about Rs. 32,000.

Faculty: Staff members in this college are well knowledgeable. They are able to make students to grow their future. Semester exams evaluate our knowledge. Semester exams are easy, with a pattern of 21 marks and 6 marks. There is a breaking system in my college. Above 35% of marks was a minimum pass percentage.

Other: The competition in this sector was less, and there are many vacancies in this department. So, I chose this course. The scholarship of Rs. 10,000 was provided in our course.
