Admission to the BSc (Hons) courses offered at Amrita Coimbatore campus is through the Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences, Agriculture & Medical Sciences (AEEL). Candidates are admitted further through a centralised seat allotment process (CSAP). Additionally, it is also necessary that the course aspirants meet the eligibility criteria. The eligible students can further visit the university official website to apply. Students must select Coimbatore campus and the course while filling out the online application form. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission process involves online registration, form filling, entrance test, release of merit list, and seat allotment. Admission to some of the courses is entrance-based while for others, the university considers merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can fill out the Amrita University MBA application form online. Admission to the MBA programmes is based on merit in CAT/AMET/GMAT/GRE/AMET. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores are further called for a personal interview round. Based on the candidate's overall performance in the selection rounds, seat allotment is carried out.
Admission to Amrita University BTech courses is through JEE Main and Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE). Candidates with a valid score in either of the examination can apply. To declare the names of selected candidates, the university will release a merit list containing the names of the students that fulfill both the selection and eligibility criteria for the BTech admissions.
Amrita School of Arts and Sciences offers a 4 year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Visual Communication with minor Artificial Intelligence course at the UG level. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Visual Communication with minor Artificial Intelligence at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences is to have a 10+2 or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
