Registration
First, you need to make a registration on the official Ashoka University website for AAT 2026. Make sure the email you type is right, because all your login info gets sent there only. Fill the Ashoka University Application Form
After you finish the registration, then you can start filling the Ashoka University application form online. For UG admissions 2026, there is no fee for submitting the form. Just write all the details carefully, and maybe recheck them before you send it. You also need to upload your documents and your photo with the form.
Give AAT
If you get shortlisted, then you have to appear in the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT). This AAT test happens online and later there is a Personal Interview too.

AAT Process
- Write Essay: On the interview day, students must write one essay on the spot. Everyone has to do it. You get around 30 minutes, and the essay should not cross 650 words.
- AAT Exam: The online test has 40 MCQs. The questions are mostly problem-solving (numerical, spatial reasoning) and also critical-thinking types like simple argument understanding.
Appear for Interview Round
When you clear AAT, then Ashoka University calls you for a panel interview. They talk to you to understand you better before making the selection. After your interview, you can get one of these results:
- Firm admission offer
- Conditional admission offer
- Waitlisted (maybe you get an offer later in the cycle)
- Deferred (maybe after your final class XII marks)
