A 5-minute break is given after candidates have taken their essay question. Ashoka Aptitude Test 2026 Admission Process
The admission process for admission to Ashoka University is provided below.
Registration
To apply for AAT 2026, candidates will first have to register themselves on the official website of the varsity. The candidate should register themselves with a valid email-ID which is working. The login details for the AAT application form will be emailed to the candidate on the submitted ID sent. All communications from Ashoka University will be sent to the aspirant’s registered email-ID.
Fill Ashoka University Application Form
Candidates will have to fill the application form for Ashoka University admissions online on the official website of the varsity. There is no application fee to fill the form for Ashoka University UG admissions 2026. Applicant are advised to carefully and thoroughly check the details being filled in. Along with the application form, candidates will also have to upload their documents along with photographs.
Give AAT
Next, candidates who will be shortlisted for the interview process will have to appear for Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT). Candidates are informed that AAT exam is conducted online along with a written test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI).
AAT Process as follows:
- Write Essay: On the day of interview round they will have to first write an essay, on the spot. It is mandatory for all candidates to write the essay. The time duration in which candidates need to write the essay is 30 minutes and the essay should not be longer than 650 words.
- AAT: The AAT will be conducted in online mode and questions will be based on problem-solving skills (included numerical and spatial reasoning) and crucial thinking skills (including understanding arguments and reasoning using everyday language). The AAT has 40 MCQs.
Appear for Interview Round
Further, candidates who will clear the AAT will have to appear for the interview round. Ashoka University conducts panel interviews in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions. Once applicants will go through the interview round they can expect to receive one of the following communications:
- Firm offer of admission
- A conditional offer of admission
- Waitlisted (possibility of an offer at the end of the admissions cycle or earlier)
- Deferred (possibility of an offer after receiving final class XII scores)
- Denial of admission
