  • Write Essay: On the interview day, students must write one essay on the spot. Everyone has to do it. You get around 30 minutes, and the essay should not cross 650 words.
  • AAT Exam: The online test has 40 MCQs. The questions are mostly problem-solving (numerical, spatial reasoning) and also critical-thinking types like simple argument understanding.

Appear for Interview Round

When you clear AAT, then Ashoka University calls you for a panel interview. They talk to you to understand you better before making the selection. After your interview, you can get one of these results:

  • Firm admission offer
  • Conditional admission offer
  • Waitlisted (maybe you get an offer later in the cycle)
  • Deferred (maybe after your final class XII marks)
  • Denied admission

Commonly asked questions
Q:   How is Ashoka University? Is it worthy to spend that kind of money for it?
A:
The answer to the second question first. Yes, it has a good name and it asks for money where one has to ask this question. As far as I have known the people who studied there and the image that this university has created, the amount (if you comfortably afford) is worth spending. This is also to be noted that this university has a name in Management education where they are providing some out of the box things. Haryana Government took them along in the ambitious Good Governance Associate project. You should try to join the university.
Q:   How can I get admission in Ashoka University, Haryana for B.Sc economics honours?
A:

Students will be selected based on their potential for academic rigor and extra-curricular engagement. These include AAT Ashoka Aptitude Test or ACT (American College Testing) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores or 10+2 marks projects, and research, if applicable, as well as the disciplined and committed pursuit of varied interests and passions. Equally, the on-the-spot essay written at the time of the interview and the in-person interview with the panel, also contribute to the decision for admission. Thanks!
