There are several hostels near B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology but very less PG's near college. In Urapakkam there were 5 to 6 PG's with wi-fi, AC and food facilities but the rent is too high. KPS women's hostel is situated near the college. PG's are available in Tambaram from where you need to travel 20 minutes to reach the college. Candidates should have the following for admission to for B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology's BTech programme: 
• Passed Class 12th from a valid state board/ CBSE/ ISC or equivalent board with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM
• Must have a score in one among Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2024) or JEE (Main)
• Must have studied in regular, full time and formal education only
• Date of birth should fall on or after 1 July 2002
Those who don't have a JEE Main score can appear for the collee level CIEAT exam, secure a good score and get admission via that.
