Bangalore University MSW Admission 2022

At the PG level, the University offers two-year full-time MSW programmes.

Admission to all these courses is subject to merit achieved by the candidates at their last qualifying degree level
For MCA, admission is based on Karnataka PGCET
For MVA, however, the University conducts Aptitude Test (Post folio assessments) for final selection

The deputizing department/ Institution shall meet all the fees and course expenses of the candidate. b) Sponsored candidate is any graduate with pass class and with three years of service in the field of social welfare in a recognised institution (Registered Social Service Organizations established under Societies / Trust / Companies Act.) The sponsoring organization must give an affidavit stating that the candidate is in employment for the past three years and give copies of last three years work reports and audited statements along with the application
MVA (Master of Visual Arts)	20	A pass in Bachelor of Visual Arts / Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in respective discipline followed by an Aptitude Test (Post folio assessments) which is given 50% weightage during the selection process
MCA 3 year	NA	As per the norms laid by Karnataka Examination Authority, Govt. of Karnataka - Candidates with BSc Computer Science or BCA with mathematics or BSc PCM graduates with PG Diploma/ Certificate Course in Computer Science are eligible only. Candidates with any other degree are not eligible. - General and OBC category candidates must have secured minimum 50 per cent marks in UG degree - For SC/ST and Category-I candidates, the minimum marks required in 45 per cent

Average college for MSW in HRM.

Placements: There are about 64 students in our class. According to what I've heard from my seniors, the placements aren't terrific, and they're not thrilled or thrilled about them. The college doesn't provide any good internships, so if you want one, you'll have to go elsewhere.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped, clean, and somewhat roomy. To improve the classes and sessions, it features a projector and strong electricity. The lab rooms are equipped appropriately for the subjects they cover. The cuisine is served in the two canteens. Maggi and Aruppe are excellent, wholesome, and clean.

Faculty: Teachers possess excellent qualifications and subject-matter expertise. When it comes to internships and comprehending the breadth of the disciplines, teachers are always willing to assist. There is less pressure, and the material is simple to understand. 55% is the passing percentage.

One of the finest colleges of my life .

Placements: There is one of the best placements in SRCC. The placement cell does its work professionally and provides you with various corporate communications opportunities on a regular basis. But the thing is, you personally must have the skills to crack high placements. The college will provide you with a better opening; you just have to grab it.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very pretty; the rooms are always clean and hygienic, and the AC is always working. I personally like the sports complex; you can do anything there. There is also a good gym with a separate cardio room (not too big). Talking about hostels, there is no AC in boys' hostels; it can get difficult to stay there in the summer. Overall, it's pretty good.

Faculty: We have a very well-qualified faculty. Most of the teachers are nice and very helpful. Their teaching quality is also top-notch. You must be regular in classes and you won't need YouTube videos to help you in your studies. The exams are conducted every semester.

The college has a lot of sports equipment.

Placements: The placement period starts in the month of November every year and lasts up to February. The circuital branch students get a lot of chances in the placements compared to the students from the remaining branches. The average package is around some 24 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: There are a lot of festivals, including the ethnic day, Christmas, and all. There is a total of 4 libraries on the campus with around 70,000 books in each. There are basketball courts on the college campus and a sports arena 1 km away with volleyball, cricket, and a football ground.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 per 30 students. That's pretty good; the teachers are approachable. I love my department; all the teachers are understanding. The physical education department is the best! There is one mid-semester exam followed by the final semester exams. The difficulty varies from subject to subject (easy to moderate to hard in some cases).

Overall, this is the best university for the MSW in Human Resource Management course.

Placements: About 75% of students were admitted to our university. The maximum salary package offered is 20 LPA, while the minimum is 5 LPA. Approximately 95% of students secured internships through our college. The top recruitment agencies include Manpower Group India, Career Net, and ABC Consultant, with top roles such as VP of Human Resources and Development Director.

Infrastructure: Our college has only a boys' hostel, and from what I’ve heard, the food there is really good, with different meals served daily. The college offers all necessary facilities, including labs, a large library with a wide range of books, and spacious classrooms. The canteen food is exceptionally student-friendly, budget-friendly, and very satisfying.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and well-educated in their subjects, helping students understand concepts better and mature in their thinking. While semester exams are challenging, they are designed with students' best interests in mind. Teachers keep students engaged and interested in their learning. The pass rate is about 75%.

Nice college with good faculty members.

Placements: From the 4th semester, students were eligible to sit on campus placements. Many companies visited our campus, like ASA Infratech, Axtria, GAIL India Ltd, and HCL Software, etc. The highest package went up to 28 LPA, and the average package was around 6 LPA. Placement percentage rate was 80%.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms were mandatory and were on a sharing basis. We had 2 and 3-seater room sharing. All the amenities were available for the children: daily cleaning, AC, oven, washing machines, etc. The cleanliness and safety of students were the utmost priority of the college. A 24X7 guard and CCTV were also there, and a strong network Wi-Fi facility was also provided.

Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified and well-experienced here. All teachers had Ph.D. degree. They use PPTs in lectures, and the teaching skills of faculty were very decent. They easily taught us the difficult things. Exams here were very difficult for those who did not attend daily lectures. If you could attend lectures, you could easily score high marks in the exam. Class size was 53, and course fee was INR 80,000 per year.

Other: The subject that I chose was social work. The department was providing opportunities for internships and field work, which were helping to connect with society and to apply the learning and theoretical knowledge in the real world.
