Selective Great Very good and reputed college, decent campus life. Little hectic, but fun overall.

Placements: Avg Placement. But often good placements with decent companies. Better for core industries than IT industries. Recruitment is difficult but good if you clear. Good but not great. Does the job, also very hard at times. Nice overall, but not a cakewalk.

Infrastructure: Good Facilities for the course. Hostel rooms are small and conventional. Difficult to adjust, but gets better with time. Maintenance is okok. College temple is very well reserved with great facilities. Does the job. Nice but not very great. Department is nice. Hostel is okay ish. Road and other facilities are good. Everything works in harmony to be honest.

Faculty: Good Faculty. Teachers are very well qualified. There might be certain biasness, but that is common to all college. Decent teaching but slightly overpriced. Faculty is nice to students. Great visiting faculty. Workshops are very common. Overall spatial growth is easy to achieve. Good amenities paired up with good teaching does the job.

It is one of the best universities in India for engineering.

Placements: It is a top engineering college and provides a huge range of exposure. The placements of our college are good, and the strength of our batch is around 50 students. The placements depend on the batch of students enrolled. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 11.5 LPA, but the main thing to be noted is that the core branches' placements percentages are very low. The civil branch placements percentage is 40-50%. Around 60-70% of placements are there in mechanical, electrical production.

Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel room is a 10x10 space equipped with a bed, a table, a chair, and several racks to keep our belongings. The room is properly ventilated and has a window that opens towards open grounds. Tube lights and fans are present in each room.

Faculty: In this college, the quality of teaching is not good.

Complete review of BIT Mesra, Ranchi college.

Placements: Usually in B.Arch placements do not occur as it is a licenced course. But sometimes placements are held centrally. But all the students are well settled in India and abroad with a very good package. The average salary being offered was around 25000.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge which is spread over 780 acres of land. The campus is full of greenery. The auditorium is huge and very beautiful. The complete campus is having a Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are smart. Indoor games and gyms are also available inside the campus. There is a playground with a volleyball court, a cricket net, a football ground has been provided. The main building accommodates lecture halls, research and training laboratories, library, administrative offices, workshops etc. There are various canteens and shops are present inside the campus. A hostel facility is also present inside the campus. There are 11 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls with full Wi-Fi and LAN connection facility. There is also a medical store present inside the campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are well educated and many of them are PhD pursuing. Some of them are also qualified from IITs and NITs. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The teaching quality of some teachers is well and good whether some of the teachers are not that much satisfiable. The exams are taken very frequently and the difficulty level of the paper lies at a moderate level. But there is a daily pressure of projects and assignments from the college.

Other: The campus is full of greenery. The other students inside the campus are very much helpful. Mess is also available in the hostel. A transport facility is also there inside the campus. The teachers are very much helpful and try to solve the problems of the students. There are various technical and cultural events organised inside the campus. Various fests are also organised by different clubs inside the campus.

Can be a good last option.

Placements: There are no placements in architecture. We were the first batch. But all students are well settled in India and abroad. Average salary being offered was around 25000. Sometimes the placement is also done centrally for all the campuses at Mesra. But the only mediocre package is offered through it.

Infrastructure: The complete campus is having LAN connection. The classrooms are smart. There is a playground with a football court, a cricket net, and a volleyball court has been provided. Indoor game and gymnasium are available on the campus. The hostel rooms are good, and the food is average.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are PhD pursuing students. They lack in experience and practical application of the knowledge being provided by them. The faculty ratio is worried some. There is no industry exposure. The curriculum was useful for only who took the pain to learn on their own.

The placement has started from 2016. Infrastructure is good.

Placements: I was a B.Arch student in the 2015 batch. There was no placement in my last year session as no company came for campus recruitment, but we were allowed to take part in pool campus drives. But the placements for B. Arch have started from year 2016. It will take some time to get at a good pace.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. The buildings are very nice, and the surrounding of the college is very relaxing and full of greenery. There are all other basic amenities which are being provided at the best. There are other sections for entertainment and also there are labs which are required for architecture.

Faculty: The faculty is very nice for architecture. They are very helpful and they guide for every situation. The course curriculum is updated and contains subjects which are in the curriculum of most of the architecture colleges of India. The course is updated timely and the faculty take all the subjects very nicely and clear all the concepts.

BIT-Mesra - A place more than just an educational institute.

Placements: Students need to go for a mandatory summer internship in their 10th semester. It's a part of B.Arch course curriculum. After the completion of 4 months of an internship, the students need to give a test (viva and presentation), displaying their learning and work in that duration.

Infrastructure: BIT-Mesra had a beautiful campus comprising of main institute building, central library, hostels, sports arena, shopping areas, medical center, etc. with a serene environment to study in. To be very honest, food isn't one of the best factors of BIT, but, you'll learn to survive. Labs and classrooms were well equipped with all the modern amenities.

Faculty: Faculty members of Department of Architecture were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They used both lecture techniques as well as hands on experience (architectural tours, internship etc.) to teach the students. Course curriculum of B.Arch proved to be very useful, the amalgamation of theory and practical knowledge helps the students to analyse the applicability of theoretical knowledge, which they had learned in their 10 semester course.
