Review of St. Xavier's College Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is great as well. There are a total of 5 periods every day, each lasting 40 minutes. The curriculum is very relevant to other B.Com courses in other colleges, and it is sufficient for the students. The exams are quite regular with 2 exams every semester and seminars to support those exams as well, which are added to the CIA Marks.

Average college, poor placements, minimal support, and somehow surviving it.

Faculty: A few teachers are helpful and supportive, but many faculty members are not. Some genuinely guide us with the curriculum and projects, while others seem to be just going through the motions. Exams are generally of moderate difficulty, not too tough and not particularly easy either.

Maulana Azad College lacks in infrastructure, but it makes up for it in soul & vibes.

Faculty: We had excellent teachers who were among the best minds in the country. I was grateful for having opportunity to study under Professor Alok Das, a stalwart in field of Political Science, who was also our Head of Department. His guidance was crucial to me.

Faculty: There are well-qualified teachers. They are helpful for students to solve doubts. Teaching quality is appreciated at 90 out of 100. The semester exams are really difficult because our college is affiliated with Calcutta University. Students have to get a minimum of 40 percent marks in each paper to pass.

A good college for B.Com in South Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but they don't finish the syllabus in time. The curriculum followed is the same as that of other B.Com colleges at Calcutta University. The faculty take regular classes in the first sem but not after the second semester. Overall, the exams were fine.

Faculty is supportive, and even the college is really well-maintained.

Faculty: Faculty was supportive, and the curriculum was from Calcutta University. The pass percentage was 35%. The syllabus was basically of accounts as a major, and then subjects like business, economics, environment, etc., were the subjects that were not much different from 12th.
