It is a decent college with decent enough faculty. 2025 is the first year with good placements.

Faculty: Teachers are more or less qualified enough for the course. They are very helpful and knowledgeable too. The teaching quality is 8/10. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semesters are pretty difficult, and you have to study really hard. The pass percentage is somewhere around 70%.

Good networking opportunities and exposure.

Faculty: Teachers at the college were welcoming. They were qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum provided by the college was mostly relevant and provided you with brief industry insights. Semester exams were not difficult. Passing percentage was good.

Decent college, but not so developed placement process .

Faculty: The faculty and teaching staffs of our college are mostly helpful except a few of them. Most of the teachers are well qualified as well. Our course curriculum is as per the latest standards, and the semester examinations are comparatively hard. You need to study year round to score good marks.

Review of Sammilani Mahavidyalaya.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they are more like friends. We have so much fun there. Some teachers will give us life lessons too. This college will not make us industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by Calcutta University and it is quite moderate to tough. But if we do not study, we will surely fail.

I am dissatisfied with college because there are no job placements, and it could be better.

Faculty: I am in the morning section, and there are no classes by the teachers. Faculty members are qualified but not as knowledgeable as we want. Teaching quality is below average. Students here do not become ready for exams. The passing rate in this college is very low.

Absolutely the best university in India.

Faculty: All the teachers are good in behavior with great qualifications, and they are student-friendly, no doubt. The semester exam is a little difficult, but for an average student, if he/she stays connected with regular studies, attends classes, and stays in touch with teachers, it will be more helpful and easier to pass the semester. The pass percentage is around 75-80%.

It’s awesome. The facilities here are great.

Faculty: It's difficult to give exams in such a short period of like 3 months. Passing marks are 15. Overall, if you study and follow the classes properly, you can definitely score good marks in the semester. But the only problem is the time we get for the completion of the syllabus for each semester.

Supportive for CA aspirants with good infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified and supportive, especially in subjects like accountancy, law, and tax. They are approachable and help in clearing doubts. The curriculum is updated, covering both theoretical and practical knowledge, and does aligns with industry standards.

Best university for M.Sc. and research with friendly-supportive faculty members.

Faculty: I rate it 5/5 for my department teachers based on their best quality of teaching. Also, they are very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and modern industry-focused, which helps us to better understand the recent industry. Semester exams are mostly difficult, but that helps us to attend regular classes and read carefully. But practical exams are easy and enjoyable. Most of the students pass like 95% of the students.

Good faculty members and low annual fees.

Faculty: To be honest, the teachers are very helpful in their studies. They take extra online classes during summer recess. The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams in our college are on an average and the passing percentage is above 80%.

I had a very good experience in the college.

Faculty: Exams are normal as we know the University of Calcutta is very strict, but every student has passed with almost 79% as we see an average of 80-90% of students pass if they study. We will score obviously good marks, but if we do not study, we will fail. Teachers will also help us very well to perform exams.

Overall a good college to take admission and quite friendly environment.

Faculty: Teachers are well-behaved and polite with us. We have a friendly connection with our teachers. Semester exams are quite difficult but we prefer notes from our teachers and clear semesters. The passing percentage is not so high because of the toughness of the exam it's around 60%. Faculty members are quite helpful to students and also friendly.

Average college for students not extraordinary.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in completing the syllabus of each semester, give notes to get good marks, and help students if they ask for teachers are mostly friendly. Semester exams are actually difficult but with good preparation, it doesn't feel that difficult.

Asutosh College — A blend of balanced academic and social life.

Faculty: Labs and classrooms are good but equipment can be upgraded (they were when we were about to complete the semester). Wi-Fi is not available. The library is well equipped with books. You need library cards to issue the books and can avail of library facilities during college hours. Hostel seats are limited since students enrolled are much higher in numbers than the seats. The canteen can be much better. (Though you can be in the canteen for fun).
